Kane's POV

As we walked around, I could tell this really was the city. Their were buildings surrounding us from all angles, towering a few stories tall, they were subways and bridges build on top of roads and highways with cars driving by all interconnecting in a messy way. I know the capital was the biggest metro plain area on the werewolf continent but seeing it in person was crazy. People of all types of species were walking by on the crosswalks, all looked to be in a hurry, trying to get somewhere. I could smell werewolves, vampires, succubus, humans, shifters, ghouls and hundred's of unknown scents too. We were walking in this street next to the highway so some of the buildings covered the sky, the sidewalks were so crowded that you couldn't stop if you wanted too.

Ni leaped out of the way off a skateboarder who rushed passed her, she chuckled a little, she called out,"Your getting better Ray!!"

He looked back smiling,"Thanks!!"

Gale was holding on to me for dear life, she looked so afraid that she'll lose us, her eyes were darting around at all the new unfamiliar sounds and smells. I stroked her head trying to calm her down.

As we walked through the streets beneath the highway, I saw Ni greet others, she interacted with everyone, they all seemed to be on good terms with her, where they be a vampire or werewolf or other, she talked to all of them with a smile on her face.

I said,"You seem to be quite popular."

She waved her hand and said,"Nah, it's just that the people here are too nice."

She then looked at me curiously,"You seem to travel around a lot, how come your not familiar with this type of place?"

I scratched my neck,"I've never been to the capital before, but you don't find it strange? How can all these type of races can interact this peacefully? I know for a fact these people would be at each other throats in any other city."

She pointed at her self as she said,"Well, they aren't as big as this one, right? Like this city has cities in cities, it could take you days to reach the other side by walking. You know this city has werewolf packs in it? These packs don't have a shred of grass in them, all their territory is completely urbanized towns."

She said,"I think it's because of the population, because it's a mega city people think they could hide in them despite being a minority species, as you know this is the werewolf continent were werewolves are the majority, so smaller groups of like vampires or ghouls would normally be prosecuted right?"

"But in here, it's a city so big that people can't really snuff out other races, which invites more people to come, then people talk, and more and more people come here, in an endless cycle. To the point were the city becomes a diversity hot mess, and so because the population is so split, creatures of other races have better representation here than anywhere else in the North and South. Which makes even more people want to come here, which made the culture over here more diverse and accepting then other places."

I nodded thinking about it for a minute, I suppose that makes sense, I glanced at a werewolf and vampire couple in the distance. It still is amazing to see.

I looked at Ni,"You seemed pretty knowledge about this place huh?"

She smiled,"It's all thanks to you!! I've heard about this place and was planning to go in a few years but the money you gave help me go straight away! It was hard for the first few weeks but I then met amazing people who helping me out and I even joined a guild, it isn't much but I'm happy with were I am."

Gale poked me and said softly,"What's a guild?"

I explained,"Basically like a pack, but made up of mostly humans, you don't typically see many of those in other places because most humans choose to stick with a specific werewolf pack."
