Anon, I owe you 1,500 words :(

Sean walked into the kitchen and made some breakfast, while Gabriel glared at Luke and shoved him as he walked past. His eyes settled on me, and while he shook his head in exasperation, I could clearly see the lightness in his eyes. He wasn't mad, in fact, if I was reading his expression correctly, he was happy that I had come out from under my storm cloud long enough to laugh, even if it was at his expense.

"Trouble, can I do you hair?" he asked.

I wasn't surprised that he had phrased it as a question, at this point, they were walking on legos around me. Every step was careful, and thoroughly thought through as to not break what they thought was a fragile exterior. What they didn't get was I was used to the people I love, the people who are supposed to love me unconditionally, saying mean things.

This hurts, of course it does. But it's not something I've never gone through, or at least close to what I've gone through.

I nodded and picked at the hem of my shirt, "Of course, Meanie, can you fish tail my braid?" I said, knowing the words sounded wrong, but not being able to pick apart why they did.

Gabriel grinned, "Fishtail braid your hair? Of course," he said, rubbing his hands and walking over to take his spot behind me.

North looked over and shook his head, "Gabriel, I still can't believe you learned all those girly ass braids," he said, looking like he was going to say more, but Gabriel cut him off.

"Oy, fuck you. I bet you that one of us, if not more of us, is going to be blessed with a little girl, and if you're too chicken shit to learn how to braid her fucking hair, then that's your problem," he huffed, "besides, Trouble likes her hair being played with, and you don't know shit about playing with it, so you don't get to," he said, his voice turning indifferent at the end.

North frowned, opened his mouth to reply, but shook his head, not wanting to further the argument. The rest of the boys came into the room, each giving me a good morning, and some of them swooping down to kiss various parts of my face. Gabriel kissed the top of my head as he finished braiding, and then sat down next to me. Nathan swooped in and sat down on my other side, while the others took the remaining seats.

Sean walked in and sat down between Kota and North, before striking up a conversation about something I couldn't hear, with Kota. I wanted to ask him where the food was, but before I could make a sound, Luke caught my eye. He was gazing at me with a far off look, and I couldn't help but wonder what he was day dreaming of behind those pretty eyes of his.

His gaze slid out of the dream, and settled on me, where his smile grew a little goofy and he made a face, causing me to giggle. The boys sitting closest to me momentarily paused their conversations, giving look an appreciative look before starting back up again, causing me to blush. Luke simply winked, and looked towards the door where the maids came in with trays of breakfast.

It was like a little light bulb went off in my head, of course everyone just trusted Sean to go into the kitchen alone. He wasn't cooking, this was Victor's house. The maids left the room almost as quick as they had entered, and the boys started serving themselves. Nathan and Gabriel put stuff on my plate, but thankfully, they didn't overload it like normal.

North grumbled something about it being a good thing Luke wasn't sitting next to me, which earned him a punch to the shoulder from Silas and a glare from Luke.

"What?" he demanded, "she doesn't need to be hyped up on sugar, if we're going to be stuck in the car for a few hours, and then hiking to the spot afterwards," he said, looking over at Nathan, "Put some strawberries on her plate or something."
