DuBuis and Spencer's Long Ago College Years
Trigger Warning : Rape / Sexual Assault
Young Spencer Norland had not wanted to go out with Skip Sands.
First he was a jock and a college football player. The only athlete that Spencer trusted in any regard was his roommate and only friend DuBuis Lane. The others just seemed to live to play pranks on him and make fun of him all while almost begging him to help them with their studies. If not just do their homework and projects for them. Which he did because he wanted to be liked and respected by them.
Second because his every waking thought was only of his roommate who just saw him as a friend that needed his protection from the world at large. And because DuBuis had a date that night with a tall handsome young man who wore his gayness with such pride that Spencer felt envious of the freedom.
But instead of moping around their shared apartment space on campus that night he went out with Skip to a movie and dinner. Skip had seemed to like Spencer. Seemed to. He should have realized then how off it really was. When Skip had invited him back to his single dorm room in what everyone called the " Party Dorm " Spencer didn't say no. He didn't go back to his and DuBuis's apartment to listen to his roommate talk about yet another date and yet another boyfriend. He went back to Skip's room.
Skip palmed his cell phone from where it rested on his desk and swiped a few times on it. Then he shoved it in his pants pocket and turned with a big mischievous smile towards Spencer who sat on his bed with glazed eyes from the drink Skip had given him earlier that evening. Spencer's pants were unbuttoned and half zipped already and his buttoned down shirt disheveled.
" I don't feel good , " Spencer whispered as he tried to stand up but was astonished to find he couldn't. His head was beginning to swim. What was going on ? , he thought as he looked with blurred vision at his date. " I need to go home.... I need ..... DuBuis..... "
Skip leaned over him almost menacingly as he grabbed at his blond hair , saying , " Forget DuBuis Lane. He ain't gonna play your big hero this time , Nerd Boy. This time you're the one whose going to get taught a lesson , Spencer Norland. By the master. God , I've been thinking about this all night."
