Pamela was crying as she drove her car as the rain came down in droves. She kept thinking about the text she had received from Melinda Velez.

Even as she had packed her suitcases haphazardly she had been crying and thinking that she had known it would happen this way. She knew she would end up losing Faith Lane.

Nigel tried to drive as carefully as he could but he was anxious to get to Richard as fast as he could. Damn this rain. He had never heard that man say he needed anyone before. Especially not him. To Nigel it was akin to hearing " I love you" from him.
His phone rang shrilly and because he was wearing his bluetooth he answered it, saying " Hello? "
It was Richard. " It's raining hard. Be careful. I love you. "
Nigel smiled widely. He was about to say that he loved Richard too when all of a sudden another car ran haphazardly through a red light for themself and hit Nigel's borrowed car directly on it's driver's side.
