As we reached our destination, the teachers asked us to come down from the bus. We lined up and descended one by one. All the students were mesmerized by the beautiful scenery of the village. The air was fresh, and the greenery stretched as far as the eye could see.
Preeti and Rani were bubbling with excitement. "Wow, look at those fields! They're so green," Preeti exclaimed, her eyes wide with wonder.
"Ha, itni saaf hawa! Lagta hai, yahan pollution ka naam-o-nishan nahi hai," Rani added, taking a deep breath and stretching her arms out wide.
(yes, such clean air! It seems like there's no trace of pollution here.)
I smiled at their enthusiasm. "Sahi keh rahi ho. It's so peaceful here. Bohot different from our noisy city."
(You're right. It's so peaceful here. Very different from our noisy city.)
Preeti nudged me playfully. "Meera, imagine yahan rehna kitna mazedaar hoga. Subah subah yeh sab dekhne milega."
(Meera, imagine how enjoyable it would be to live here. You'd get to see all this every morning.)
I laughed. "Haan, aur raat ko taare dekh sakte hai bina kisi light pollution ke."
(Yes, and at night, you can see the stars without any light pollution.)
Rani nodded vigorously. "Aur socho, agar hum yahan ek hafte ke liye ruk jayein to, Kitna relax feel hoga."
(And just think, if we were to stay here for a week, how relaxing it would feel.)
We all laughed at that. It felt amazing to be in such a serene place, away from the hustle and bustle of our usual lives, sharing this moment with Preeti and Rani. As we continued to admire the scenery, I couldn't help but feel grateful for these simple, yet precious moments.
Preeti's eyes sparkled with mischief. "Aur Meera, soch yahan par Lakhsya ke saath walk karna. Kitna romantic hoga na?"
(And Meera, imagine walking here with Lakshya. It would be so romantic, wouldn't it?)
I blushed instantly. "Chup kar, Preeti! Tum bhi na..."
(shut up preeti.)
Rani joined in, "Waise, Preeti sahi keh rahi hai. Dekh, wahan se kitna sundar raasta ja raha hai. Perfect for a walk."
(True, Preeti is right. Look, how beautiful the path is over there. Perfect for a walk.)
I tried to change the topic, feeling my cheeks heat up. "Yaar, tum log bas mera mazak banane aaye ho kya?"
(Hey, are you guys just here to make fun of me?)
Preeti laughed. "Arey, hum toh bas mazak kar rahe the. Lekin sach mein, yeh jagah kitni dreamy hai."
