First, apologies for the delay.

I already explained the reason for the update's lateness on the message board.

Happy reading!

Yes, there's a long chapter ahead.

As I got ready for today's activities, a sense of excitement filled me. Today, we were going to the market to buy ingredients for dinner. Each group would be cooking their own meal, and in the meantime, we would also visit a famous temple nearby. We girls had requested this, and our teachers had agreed. I was thrilled about the outing and decided to wear something traditional for the occasion.

I chose a kurta paired with matching pants. My hair, still slightly damp, hung loosely around my shoulders. I applied a bit of kajal to my eyes, dusted some compact powder on my face, and finished with a touch of lip gloss. Lastly, I put on the jhumkas Lakhsya had given me. Thinking about him brought a smile to my face.

These days spent with Lakhsya and my friends were precious, a break from the daily grind of life. I felt a warm happiness as I thought about the moments we had shared, especially the tender ones with Lakhsya. I giggled, recalling his playful teasing and the way he made me feel special.

I was eager for him to see me in the jhumkas. As I admired my reflection, I couldn’t help but feel a flutter of anticipation. This trip to the market and temple was going to be memorable, and I was ready to embrace every moment of it.

As I giggled, lost in thoughts of Lakhsya, Preeti and Rani couldn't help but notice. They were also getting ready, sharing the small space of our tent with laughter and playful teasing.

"Look at her, daydreaming again," Preeti teased, brushing her hair in front of the small mirror we had set up.

Rani joined in, "I bet she's thinking about a certain someone whose name starts with an 'L'." She winked at me, a mischievous smile spreading across her face.
