I sat across from D'Angelo in the cozy living room of our mansion, the evening sunlight casting a warm glow around us. Despite the casual setting, there was a tension in the air-a weighty topic looming between us.
"D'Angelo," I began, steeling myself for the conversation ahead. "I need to talk to you about something."
He raised an eyebrow, his gaze locking with mine. "Go on, Kylie. You can tell me anything."
I took a deep breath, gathering my thoughts. "It's about Theo and Gina. They're...how do I say this? wary of you."
A flicker of amusement crossed D'Angelo's features, but he quickly masked it with a neutral expression. "Understandable. I'm not exactly the most conventional roommate."
I couldn't help but chuckle at his understatement. "You could say that. But seriously, they're concerned. They don't know anything about you, and they're worried about me living with a stranger."
D'Angelo nodded thoughtfully, his gaze drifting to the window for a moment before returning to me. "I understand their concerns, Kylie. And I want to put their minds at ease. Why don't you arrange a meeting? I'd be happy to answer any questions they have."
I sighed in relief, grateful for his willingness to address the situation. "That would be great, D'Angelo. Thank you."
He flashed me a charming smile, a hint of mischief dancing in his eyes. "Besides, I could use the opportunity to charm them with my irresistible charisma."
I rolled my eyes playfully, unable to suppress a grin. "Oh, please. Don't flatter yourself too much."
He chuckled, leaning back in his chair with an air of confidence. "Trust me, Kylie. I have a way with people."
I shook my head, amused by his cocky demeanor. "We'll see about that. But seriously, thank you for doing this. It means a lot to me."
D'Angelo's smile softened, a genuine warmth in his eyes. "Anything for you, Kylie. You're family, remember?"
I nodded, feeling a swell of gratitude for the man sitting across from me. Whatever doubts or concerns Theo and Gina had, I knew that D'Angelo would do whatever it took to prove himself to them. And as I looked at him, his easy confidence and unwavering support filling me with a sense of security, I couldn't help but feel a flicker of something more-a connection that went beyond mere friendship. But for now, I pushed those thoughts aside, focusing on the task at hand. With D'Angelo by my side, I knew that everything would work out in the end.

As Theo and Gina stepped through the grand entrance of the mansion, their eyes widened in amazement. The opulence of the surroundings took their breath away-the marble floors, the intricately carved furnishings, the glittering chandeliers overhead."Holy crap, Kylie," Theo muttered, his voice tinged with awe. "This place is insane."
Gina nodded in agreement, her eyes darting around the room in wonder. "I've never seen anything like it. It's like something out of a movie."
