The morning sun filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow across my room. I stretched lazily and glanced at the clock. It was already 9 AM. Today was the day Kylie and I had planned our much-needed girls' day out, and I couldn't wait to get started.

I hopped out of bed and headed to the bathroom for a quick shower. The warm water felt refreshing, washing away the remnants of sleep. After drying off, I applied a light layer of makeup, opting for a natural look with a touch of mascara and a hint of pink on my lips.

Next came the most exciting part-choosing our outfits. I opened my wardrobe and settled on a chic black jumpsuit that hugged my curves in all the right places. It was comfortable yet stylish, perfect for a day out in the city. I paired it with strappy black sandals and a few silver accessories, including a delicate bracelet and small hoop earrings.

Kylie arrived at my room soon after, and we spent a few moments picking out her outfit. She decided on a flowing white sundress with a cinched waist that accentuated her figure beautifully. She paired it with tan sandals and a light shawl, looking effortlessly elegant.

Our guards were discreetly stationed outside, ensuring our safety without intruding on our day. D'Angelo was overseas handling some mafia business, so it was just us and our trusted protectors.

We started our day with a leisurely brunch at a cozy little café downtown. The place had a charming, rustic vibe with mismatched chairs, vintage posters on the walls, and the irresistible smell of freshly baked pastries. We found a table by the window, ordered a decadent spread of avocado toast, fluffy pancakes, and lattes topped with intricate latte art.

"This is exactly what I needed," Kylie said, taking a sip of her latte. "I'm so glad we're doing this, Gina."

"Me too," I replied, smiling. "Sometimes you just need to take a break and enjoy the simple things."

We chatted about everything and nothing, from the latest gossip to our favorite movies. It felt good to just relax and laugh without any pressure or stress.

After brunch, we decided to hit the store's. There was a new boutique Kylie had been dying to check out, and I was eager to see what we could find. Our guards trailed behind us at a respectful distance, keeping an eye on our surroundings.

The boutique was a treasure trove of stylish clothes and accessories. We tried on dresses, giggling like teenagers as we modeled our picks for each other. Kylie found a stunning red dress that made her look like a movie star, and I picked out a chic black jumpsuit that hugged my curves in all the right places.

"You have to get that," Kylie insisted, her eyes wide with admiration. "It looks amazing on you."

"Only if you get the dress," I countered, grinning.

"Deal," she laughed.

With our new outfits in tow, we made our way to a nearby spa. We had booked ourselves in for the works: massages, facials, and manicures. The spa was an oasis of calm, with soft music playing and the soothing scent of lavender in the air. I felt all the tension melt away as we were pampered from head to toe.

"This is heaven," I murmured as the masseuse worked out a particularly stubborn knot in my shoulder.

"Agreed," Kylie replied, her voice dreamy. "We should make this a regular thing."

"Definitely," I said, closing my eyes and savoring the moment.

After the spa, we strolled through the park, enjoying the warm sunshine and the beauty of the blooming flowers. Our guards remained vigilant but unobtrusive, allowing us to enjoy our time together. We found a quiet spot by the lake and sat down, watching the ducks paddle by and sharing stories from our childhood.

"Remember that time we snuck out to go to that concert?" Kylie said, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

"How could I forget?" I laughed. "We thought we were so clever, and then we got grounded for a month."

"Totally worth it," she grinned.

As the afternoon turned to evening, we decided to cap off our day with a visit to our favorite ice cream parlor. We each got a double scoop of our favorite flavors and sat on a bench outside, enjoying the cool treat and the gentle evening breeze.

"Today was perfect," Kylie said, licking her cone. "Thanks for being the best friend ever, Gina."

"Right back at you," I replied, feeling a deep sense of contentment. "We should do this more often."

"Yeah, i wish it didn't have to end so soon," i reminisced, sighing at the thought of the day ending
;
"It doesnt have to," she stated, a mischievous gleam in her eyes

I laughed at her expression. Currently." I looked at my phone. "It is 6 p.m. and late; what do you mean?"

She rolled her eyes "I'm saying, let's not end the day here. How about we go clubbing? its been a while."

" i would like to, but i don't feel that's wise with our current circumstances," i reasoned truthfully

"Yeah, but when are we ever going to get the chance to do this again, G? with our current circumstances between training and everything else?"

"I love you ky, but this is a really dumb idea, plus D'Angelo would never approve."

She grinned, a determined look on her face. "Who said he has to know?"

"Please G?"

"No, this is stupid; they will ask questions." i whisper-shout

"No one will know we'll sneak out, just like we did for that one concert, plus d'Angelo is in Korea and Theo is focused on training; no one will find out," she argued

"Please, Gina," she pleaded after a moments silence

I groaned defeatedly, "okay, fine, lets go clubbing you idiot."

She excitedly pulled me into a bear hug, jumping up and down, and I gave in, jumping and laughing as well. "Let's go home and get ready now if we want to pull this off."

The night only just began with the stubbornness of one's best friend.
