As we approached the park, I could sense the tension radiating from Gina. She seemed on edge, and I couldn't help but feel a twinge of unease. But I pushed the feeling aside, focusing instead on the task at hand.

As we drew closer, I spotted kylina standing near the entrance, her expression a mixture of anger and hurt. I could see the pale bruises that loitered her pale skin as she walked over to us.

"What the hell is he doing here?" Kylina's voice was laced with anger as she glared at me, her eyes blazing with fury.

I felt a surge of frustration rise within me. "I didn't know about this," I replied, trying to keep my tone neutral despite the tension thickening the air between us.

Kylie shifted uncomfortably beside me, her gaze fixed on the ground. "I... I thought it would be good for you two to talk," Gina muttered, her voice barely above a whisper.

But kylina wasn't having it. "You set me up," she accused, her voice trembling with betrayal. "You knew I didn't want to see him, and you brought him here anyway."

I watched as Kylie turned and walked away, tears streaming down her cheeks. My heart twisted with guilt and regret.

"What the hell was that?" I demanded, turning to face Gina, my frustration boiling over.

She looked up at me, her eyes filled with tears. "I'm sorry, Theo. I thought I was doing the right thing," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion.

I sighed, running a hand through my hair in frustration. "Well, you weren't," I snapped, the weight of the situation bearing down on me.

"Look, I'm sorry I didn't mean for it to come out like that." I pulled her in a side hug calming her down

Gina leaned into the hug, her body trembling slightly. "I just wanted to help," she murmured.

"I know," I said, softening my tone. "But we need to handle this differently."

I pulled away and looked into her eyes. "Kylie is here now, and whether or not she knew I was going to be here matters no more. I can't let her leave without talking to her."

Gina nodded, wiping away a tear. "Okay, let's find her and try to make things right."

We walked quickly, scanning the park for any sign of kylie. When we finally spotted her sitting on a bench, her shoulders shaking with silent sobs, my heart ached. I took a deep breath and approached her cautiously.

"Ky," I called softly.

She looked up, her eyes red and puffy. "What do you want, Theo?" she snapped.

"I want to talk," I said, sitting down beside her. "I want to explain."

She glared at me, but didn't move away. "Explain what? How you abandon us? Abandoned me?"
