the morning sun filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the room, I found myself watching Kylie sleep with a sense of contentment. She looked peaceful, her features softened by the gentle light, and I couldn't help but smile at the sight.

Quietly slipping out of bed, I made my way to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. Today was going to be special-I had a surprise planned for Kylie, something to show her how much I value her.

After whipping up a simple but delicious meal, I set the table with care, adding a vase of fresh flowers for a touch of elegance. With everything in place, I returned to the bedroom to wake Kylie.

"Good morning, love," I said softly, gently shaking her shoulder.

Kylie stirred, blinking sleepily as she sat up in bed. "Morning, D'Angelo," she murmured, rubbing her eyes.

I couldn't help but smile at her sleepy expression. "I've made breakfast for us," I said, my voice filled with warmth. "Come join me in the kitchen."

Kylie stretched, a small yawn escaping her lips. "You didn't have to do that," she said, but her eyes sparkled with appreciation.

"I wanted to," I replied, helping her out of bed. We walked hand in hand to the kitchen, where the scent of fresh coffee and warm pastries filled the air.

As Kylie sat down, her eyes widened at the sight of the beautifully set table. "This looks amazing, D," she said, her voice filled with awe.

I poured her a cup of coffee and handed it to her with a smile. "Just a small way to show how much you mean to me," I said.

Kylie took a sip of her coffee and looked at me with a mix of gratitude and love. "You're too good to me," she whispered.

We enjoyed our breakfast together, the morning sun continuing to cast its warm glow over us. It was a simple moment, but one filled with love and appreciation, setting the tone for the special day ahead.Just then, the sound of the front door opening caught our attention.

Theo walked in, looking groggy but alert enough to notice the scene before him. His eyes shifted from the table set for two to the fresh flowers and finally to Kylie and me, sitting close to each other.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" He said with a teasing grin. "You two look awfully cozy this morning."

Kylie blushed, and I felt a mix of amusement and nervousness. She glanced at me before turning to her brother. "Theo, I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, but D'Angelo and I have been seeing each other."

He raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk on his face. "Really? And here I was thinking you two were just really good friends."

Kylie laughed softly, the tension easing. "It's been a few weeks now. I was going to tell you, I just... wanted to find the right moment."
