The tension in the room was palpable as D'Angelo stood over the table, a map of the area spread out in front of him. The team gathered around, waiting for him to speak. Damien had given him the location-a remote warehouse on the outskirts of the city. The instructions were clear: come alone, tell no one, or Kylie dies. But D'Angelo wasn't about to walk into a trap without a plan.

His mind raced, calculating every possible outcome. Damien was a manipulative bastard, and this was all just another game to him. But D'Angelo wasn't playing by Damien's rules. He knew better than to trust a single word that man said.

"We're going in tomorrow," D'Angelo began, his voice steady but edged with the anger he was barely holding back. "Damien thinks he has the upper hand, but we're going to show him just how wrong he is."

The others exchanged glances, sensing the gravity of the situation. Jay, despite his exhaustion and frustration, was alert and focused. Finneas stood beside him, ready to back up whatever D'Angelo had in mind.

"I have to make Damien think I'm following his orders, which means I'll go in first," D'Angelo continued, pointing to the location on the map. "But I'm not going in alone, and I'm not going in unarmed. We'll need to set up a perimeter around the warehouse-keep hidden, stay low, and be ready to move the moment I give the signal."

He turned to Finneas. "You'll be leading the secondary team. I need you to position your men at these two entry points." He marked two spots on the map. "Once I'm inside and have eyes on Kylie, I'll give you the signal to move in. We'll catch Damien off guard before he knows what hit him."

Jay leaned in, studying the map. "And what about Kylie? What if he tries to use her as a shield?"

D'Angelo's jaw clenched. That was his biggest fear. "That's why we have to be fast. The moment he realizes I'm not alone, he'll try something desperate. We can't give him that chance. The primary objective is to get Kylie out alive. Everything else comes second."

Jay nodded, though the tension in his eyes remained. "And if he tries to run?"

D'Angelo's gaze hardened. "Then we stop him. By any means necessary."

The room fell silent, the weight of what was about to happen settling over everyone. This wasn't just a rescue mission; it was a fight for survival. Kylie's life hung in the balance, and they all knew there was no room for error.

As the team dispersed to prepare, D'Angelo remained at the table, staring at the map. His thoughts drifted to Kylie-her strength, her resilience, and the pain she must be enduring. He couldn't let her down. Not now, not ever.

Finneas approached him, sensing the turmoil beneath D'Angelo's calm exterior. "We'll get her back," he said quietly, offering a reassuring hand on D'Angelo's shoulder.

D'Angelo nodded, though his heart was heavy with the weight of what was to come. "We have to. For her sake, and for ours."

He looked around the room, at the men who had fought beside him for years. They were all ready to do whatever it took to bring Kylie home. And as much as he hated to endanger their lives, he knew there was no other way. This was the only chance they had.
