The morning sun streamed through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the room. I woke up to the sight of Kylie nestled against me, her soft breathing a comforting rhythm. Gently, I brushed a strand of hair from her face and kissed her forehead, savoring the peaceful moment before the whirlwind of our day began.
"Wake up, bella," I whispered, my voice tender. "We have a big day ahead."
(bella means beautiful.)Kylie stirred, blinking sleepily. "Mmm, good morning," she murmured, stretching lazily. "What time is it?"
"Time to get ready for our trip," I replied, smiling down at her. "Remember? We're flying to Italy today."
Her eyes widened with excitement as she fully woke up. "Oh my gosh, I almost forgot! I've never left America before. This is going to be amazing."
I chuckled, loving her enthusiasm. "Let's start with breakfast. We have a long day ahead."
We made our way to the kitchen, where I whipped up a quick but delicious meal of scrambled eggs, toast, and fresh fruit. Kylie set the table, her excitement palpable.
"Do you think Italy will be as beautiful as it looks in pictures?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
"It's even more breathtaking in person," I assured her. "You'll love it."
After breakfast, we returned to the bedroom to pack our suitcases. Kylie flitted around the room, her energy infectious. I watched her with amusement as she meticulously chose her outfits, her excitement evident in every movement.
"Do you think this dress will be okay for the ball?" she asked, holding up an elegant emerald-green gown.
"It's perfect," I said, admiring the way it complemented her complexion. "You'll look stunning."
We continued packing, chatting about the trip and what we hoped to see and do in Italy. Once our bags were ready, we called for a car to take us to the airport.
The drive was smooth, and as we approached the private terminal, Kylie's excitement grew. She looked out the window, her eyes wide with wonder.
"Is that our plane?" she asked, pointing to a sleek, black jet parked on the tarmac.
I nodded, feeling a swell of pride. "Yes, that's ours. Ready for your first international flight?"
She turned to me, and her face lit up with joy. "Absolutely. This is incredible."
We were greeted by the crew as we boarded the plane; their professionalism and attentiveness ensured a seamless experience. Kylie took a seat by the window, her eyes glued to the view outside.
"This is so cool," she whispered, almost to herself. "I can't believe we're really doing this."
I sat down next to her, taking her hand in mine. "It's just the beginning, Kylie. There's so much more to come."
