short summary:
you are Kim Aera, a 16-year old girl who lives with her mother in a small town in Seoul. your mum is usually never home, because she's on business trips all the time, so you just go out wherever you want.
you don't really have any friends anymore, but you used to have a best friend, Hyunjin. you both stopped talking after a rumour spread that he had been talking behind your back about you and your dad who died a few days beforehand, to your boyfriend who you broke up with shortly after as he became toxic and obsessive.
