Chapter 5

I was at school and Nino was showing me some video. "Isn't it funny?", asked Nino.

"I didn't get the joke", I said.

"You're Chat Noir, you're supposed to get it", he said. I saw Marinette drawing pictures with her hands and falling backwards. I laughed and so did Nino. Well he laughed more at the video.

School ended during lunch. I got into my car after waving at Nino. I was going to a comedy show. My father forced me to. Mr. Clown was going to be performing. The same guy in the video I watched earlier today. I got out of the car and was walking with my bodyguard and waited in line. I saw a familiar girl approach me. "Marinette?", I asked.

"Oh! Adrien! You like Harry Clown too?", she asked. I noticed the hat on her head which gave cowboy vibes.

"I've been invited", I said, scratching my neck.

"You think he'll do his sketch on the clumsy sheriff?", she asked.

I was confused. "The clumsy who?", I asked.

"Ohhh! Where did my hat go?", asked Marinette.

"It's right there", I said, pointing at her head.

"Yee-haw!", she yelled, scaring me as I ducked down. "Oh, what there it is. Silly old me". She was about to pick up her hat and so was I till we crashed heads together. "Sorry".

"Sorry", I said, as she put her hat back on.

"Check out my sheriff's hat. Shiny isn't it?", she asked, as she looked at the star on the front.

"Are you okay? You're acting kind of strange", I said. This wasn't the clumsy Marinette.

"What? No, no I'm fine", she protested. "Look at me I mean at the star".

I looked at it and water splashed into my face. "Why did you do that?", I asked.

"Sorry", she said, as she ran away. I wanted to chase after her but there was a huge line.

A few minutes later, an akumatized villain jumped out. Plagg and I go behind a pillar. "Plagg, claws out!", I yelled.

I jumped to where Ladybug and the villain were. "I like to think, I gained a wide spread of emotions, Ladybug. I'm Pyscomedian".

"Cute name. I'm not sure how I'm feline about it", I punned.

"From now on people will take me seriously and tremble with fear", said Pyscomedia.

"I think the akuma in his red nose", whispered M'lady.

"Then let's go", I said, as I was about to rush at him.

M'lady pulled me by my tail. "We need to get close without looking him in the eye".

"You want to play cat and ladybug?", asked Pyscomedian, as he tried to find us.

"He's not that funny for a comedian", I said, honestly.

"Lucky Charm!", yelled Ladybug, as her costume changed and she got a mini makeup kit. "Of course. I have an idea. I'll have to defeat him with my eyes closed".

"Literally?", I asked.

"You'll be my eyes, kitty", she said, as I understood her plan.

Ladybug jumped into the Parisian streets and fell to the ground. I stood hidden from a car and watched the scene. "Ohh, No!!!", cried Ladybug.

"Now Ladybug!", I said, as Pyscomedian approached her.

"Boohoo!", she yelled, as she opened her eyes and tossed me the nose. "Now, Chat Noir!".

"Cataclysm!", I yelled, as my suit changed color. I destroyed the nose.

"Nice costume, kitty", she said, winking at me. I blushed red. "Time to de evilize".But there was no akuma.

"You're just a couple of amateurs", said Pyscomedian, as he pulled another nose. His face turned into anger as he controlled Ladybug. "This time I got you".

"You're going to pay for that!", yelled Ladybug, as she began furiously attacking Pyscomedian.

"Bad idea to get her angry!", I yelled, as I saved some civilians from a flying car. Pyscomedian threw her to me and she began fighting me. "I didn't do anything".

"YEAH, BECAUSE YOU NEVER DO!", she yelled.

"Quite irritating? Right kitty?", asked Psycomedian, with an amused expression.

"Things are looking up, M'lady", I said, as I tied her with my belt. I used my stick to jump away with her. The both of us were walking in the middle of the streets "M'lady, Pyscomedian made you lose control of your emotions. Just breathe and calm down".

"I'M PERFECTLY CALM, YOU'RE THE ONE WHO KEEPS ANNOYING ME WITH YOUR ANNOYING ADVICE!", she yelled, as she kicked a poster of me in civilian form.

"We should de transform", I explained. "Or find another superhero for the time being".

"DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!", she yelled, as she hit me on the head with her yoyo.

I took my yoyo and wrapped her in it. I carried her as I used my stick to jump around. "Maybe the spell will wear off later", I hoped.

The both of us jumped in an alleyway. I removed my yoyo and placed her on the other side of the wall. I returned to my side. "SPOTTS OFF!", she yelled.

"Claws in", I normally said. "Feeling any better M'lady?". I placed my hand against the wall.

"CAN'T YOU LEAVE ME ALONE FOR A ONE SECOND?", she yelled. "TIKKI, FINISH YOUR MACAROON!".

"YOU THINK I'M ENJOYING THIS?", yelled Tikki. "I'VE BEEN DOING THIS FOR A THOUSANDS OF YEARS".

Soon, the both of us were on a rooftop. "LUCKY CHARM!", yelled Ladybug, as she received a helmet. "A HELMET?". She threw it on the floor and stepped on it.

"Why did you do that?", I asked. "The plan was simple", Just put the helmet on her head and make fun of her.

"IT WASN'T OBVIOUS TO ME", she yelled, as she swung down and grabbed a helmet from someone's arms.

"I'll bring it back later", I said to the civilian as I followed Ladybug.

She handed it to me. "TAKE THIS AND MAKE IT LOOK LIKE A LUCKY CHARM. I'LL GET THE POOR EXCUSE OF A VILLAIN".

"Right", I said, as I entered Chloe's room. I took the red and black nail polish and painted the helmet in those colors.

"ARE YOU DONE YET!", yelled Ladybug.

"I'm almost finished!", I yelled.

"HAVING TROUBLE COLORING BETWEEN THE LINES?", she yelled.

"Done". Placed it on the villain's head while he was busy fighting Ladybug. "Cataclysm!". An akuma left the destroyed fanny pack.

"THERE IT'S OVER. EVERYONE CAN GO HOME NOW! NO MORE EVIL DOING FOR YOU LITTLE AKUMAL TIME TO DE EVILIZE", she yelled, as she released the akuma. "GET LOST LITTLE BUTTERFLY! MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!".

Everything and everyone returned to normal. I realized my new suit also disappeared as the lucky charm was tossed. "You're normal, right?", I asked Ladybug, who was beside me.

She chuckled as she went to Mr. Clown. "Keep this magical charm", said Ladybug, as she handed him one. "Bye kitty!". She took him home, while I de transformed near the pillar I came from.

I was sitting in my seat until Marinette sat next to me. "I wanted to say sorry earlier today. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. I was trying to try one of Harry's scratches but that didn't go well".

"That was awkward. But you're a great comedian. Like today, during school you were saying something and you were shaking your hands crazily", I said.

"Oh that", she said, as she smiled. The show began as I heard her gasp.

I returned home after a long day and saw the kwamis. "Hey guys", I said.

"So how was an angry Ladybug?", asked Trixx.

"That was a nightmare", I said, as I jumped on my bed.
