"Pound it", Ladybug, Bugaboy, and me. I landed in an alleyway. We fought off some dinosaurs which ran through Bunnyx's burrow.

I landed in the alleyway where Carapace was waiting. "Pound it", we both said.

"Look at my new suit", said Carapace.

"Wow", I asked.

"Shell off", said Carapace.

"Claws in", I said, as we both de transformed.

"Why isn't Alya here anymore?", Nino asked, as he looked at the ground.

"We don't need her for today", I said, as I thought of a good reason.

"Oh", said Nino.

"Don't worry. There'll be other chances", I said, as I placed my hands on his shoulders.

He let out a small smile. "I'll talk to her about it today", said Nino.

"But don't tell her about you being a permanent holder", I said.

"Okay", he said, as he walked away.

I was in my room, scrolling through my phone when a thought popped up to my head. "Plagg, you don't think Alya likes Chat Noir like that, right?", I asked.

Plagg just laughed. "Isn't she dating Nino?".

"Yes. But I feel like I should check", I said. "Plagg, claws out".

I jumped away and landed on Alya's balcony. "Hey Chat Noir", said Alya, as she walked out of her room.

"Hey Alya", I said. "You don't perhaps see me as more than a partner, right?".

Alya looked at me and then laughed. "That's silly. I'm dating Nino. And with him, it's like this", she said, as she used her hands to make a big heart.

"I know. I was just making sure", I said, as I jumped off.

The next day at school I saw Nino behind a pillar, signaling for me to come towards him. He dragged me into the boiler room. "Nino, what's with the costume?", I asked. He was wearing a hat and a fake mustache.

"I saw Alya make a heart to you", he said, as he pulled out his phone.

"What? Nino. That was out of context", I said. "I asked her if she had any feelings for me, so that everything would be okay between you two".

"Oh. Thanks. She ran away yesterday after our date", he said.

"I'm sure, it was nothing to worry about", I said, as I heard screams from outside.

"Well, time to transform", said Nino.

"Plagg, claws out!", I said,

"Wayzz, shell on!", he said, as we both transformed.

"You stay here", I said. "I'll go meet up with Ladybug, and Bugaboy".

I ran outside and saw the villain. "Look what the Chat dragged in. I'm Rocketeer. Get ready to lose by your own tears", he said, as he tried shooting tears at me, luckily I avoided all of them.

He shot one at me and I was about to get hit until something protected me, causing the water tear to go hit a car. Of course. Nino must've upgraded his powers a bit.

Ladybug jumped around, and based on her costume she already called her power. She stood up on the rooftop. "Nino listen to me", she said. "My magical projector will allow me to play the video". Nino? But that's not Nino. She played the video.

"Hey Chat Noir", said Alya, as she walked out of her room.

"Hey Alya", I said. "You don't perhaps see me as more than a partner, right?".

Alya looked at me and then laughed. "That's silly. I'm dating Nino. And with him, it's like this", she said, as she used her hands to make a big heart.

"I know. I was just making sure", I said.

The 'Nino' looked at me and then at Alya who was running towards him. He hugged her. He released the akuma and turned into Nino. I pulled out my baton and pushed the Nino to the ground.

"Be careful", I said. "That's not Nino".

Bugaboy snapped his fingers. The Nino, which was a senti monster disappeared. "Time to de evilize!", said Bugaboy, as he de evilized the akuma.

"Miraculous Ladybug!", yelled M'lady, as all the damage was repaired.

"Pound it", the three of us said.

"I'll take care of Alya. You three go on ahead", said Ladybug.

I jumped into the boiler room. "Pound it", said Carapace, and I.

"Wayzz, shell in".

"Plagg, claws in".

"Why did Shadow Moth create a senti monster of me?", asked Nino.

"During the battle of Miracle Queen, he knew who you were", I reminded. "That's why you're in hiding".

"Can I tell Alya?", he asked.

"I. We've been over this. It's too dangerous for her and you. If Shadow Moth found out, not only would I lose the turtle miraculous, I'll also lose my best friend", I said, smiling at him.

"I know", he said. "I won't tell her".

"Thanks", I said, as I smiled.
