The meaning of Tsuyoshi Minorikoji's name is a combination of brave ((Tsuyoshi)) and truth + child of light ((Minorikoji)).
Yes, Fukurō's first name does in fact translate to owl. I wanted to give her that name to suit her owl-like design. (( just for fun <3 ))
Taisho Secrets— Kasugai Crow:
Fukurō has a normal Kasugai crow, despite her increased hearing. This is because it's not as great as Zenitsu's, so there was no point in being overly cautious.
The crow's name is Hana, and Fukurō decided to keep it as such. She found it pretty, but also had no idea what to name her either.
Hana is the sister of Tokito Muichiro's Kasuagi crow, Ginko. Although Hana is much quieter and compassionate than her sister, she will have no problem boasting about her master ((the bragging runs in the family)).
Unlike her sister, she does not have flashy eyes. Instead she has very sharp talons, and often unintentionally stabs Fukurō's shoulder with them. Fukurō doesn't complain, as long as Hana is comfortable.
Taisho Secrets— Loyal Companions:
Back home, Minorikoji had pet mice that he would often take care of, approximately five of them ((not confirmed, as he always seemed to find more)). They all had funny names; Komugiko ((flour)), Satō ((sugar)), Tamagō ((egg)), Shio ((salt)), and Gyūnyū ((milk)). Ironically, these are all ingredients for pancakes.
Taisho Secrets— Wind Instruments:
When passing by Gyomei's mansion, Fukurō was enlightened by the sound of a flute. She turned to Genya, desperately asking who was playing the instrument. After Genya grudgingly answered that it was Gyomei, Fukurō was ecstatic. She questioned if she could one day visit Gyomei and play their wind instruments together.
Thankfully, the two arrived at the Stone Mansion before Fukurō navigated the Wind Mansion, saving her a handful of trouble from Genya.
((Hellooooo! I'm sorry for the long wait! I was a bit busy with my personal life and brainstorming ideas for this story, so this is why it took so long. I'm not sure how long the next arc will take, but if you find yourself pretty bored, I suggest reading "Soar" by ravenlatte! Her story was the main motivation and inspiration to write Zephyr, and she has written way more chapters than I have so far!
