Chapter 31

I let out a sigh as Crystal was dragging me by my hand. She had been obsessed with trying to see if Daniel had two bodies like her, and went so far as to fail every single exam today. She even ended up shopping and dressing him up because apparently he didn't know how to match clothing ... which I can definitely see since Jay was the one who bought him clothes. I remember Jay telling me that story, it was quite funny to hear how many bags of clothes he gave Daniel.

Now she was currently dragging me to the convenience store Daniel currently works at, her expression held determination and I wasn't about to stop her. I was genuinely curious myself, it would be quite interesting and if he does maybe he knows how he got his second body.

I watched as Crystal swung open the door before yanking me after her as she walked forward. "Oh hey Crystal! (Y/N)!" I heard Vasco welcome with a bright smile, I smiled in return giving him a wave. I then looked over at Crystal who gave Little Daniel a stern look as she let go of my wrist, crossing her arms. "What do you need? I can't sell you cigarettes though." Vasco added once we moved closer.

I then noticed Little Daniel staring at the computer screen, looking over I see Duke and Big Daniel streaming. I glanced at Crystal who held a shocked look on her face, before she cleared her throat, "Call Daniel for me." She spoke, keeping her arms crossed while I raised a brow.

"Ca-call him?" Little Daniel questioned, yet something was off. He didn't sound like Little Daniel, was he sick? He also looked strangely nervous, he's never like that around Crystal if anything he would be calm talking to her or glaring, whichever. I watched him with suspicious eyes as he pulled out his phone, dialing a number as he held it to his ear.

Crystal and I turned our heads to the screen watching as Big Daniel took his phone out of his pocket, saying, "Sorry. I need to take this call." He scratched the back of his head, smiling apologetically.

"I told you to turn it off!" Duke shouted as he glared at Big Daniel.

I then hear a ding, turning around to see the rest of the gang walking in, besides Jace and Jay anyway. "(Y/N)!" Zoe squealed, launching herself onto my back as she wrapped her arms around my neck, nearly knocking me over.

Crystal darted to Jiho, grabbing his shoulders. "Jiho! You know where Duke lives right!?" She questioned, practically screaming at poor Jiho.

Jiho blushed lightly before replying, "O-Of course I do." He smiled lightly before leading Crystal out of the convenience store.

Zoe eventually let go of me before watching the door shut with a confused look, "What was that about?" She questioned, looking at me.

I shrugged, "She's trying to prove a theory." I replied, which was the truth honestly. My gaze then shifted to the supposed Little Daniel watching as Vasco got him to do 200 more squats, like he would usually do sometimes.

"You've gotten weaker Daniel." Vasco stated with a bright smile on his face as he continued doing squats.

Zack picked up a bag of chips, "Hey Daniel! I'm eating some junk food." He said before opening the bag of chips, leaning up against the counter.

Zoe and I both exchanged a look, nodding to each other as she crossed her arms while I walked over to "Little Daniel" placing my hand on his shoulder gaining his attention. "(Y/N)! Don't interrupt our workout!" Vasco exclaimed. "Oh or do you want to join-" He went silent as I raised a hand, giving him a small smile before looking down at the guy playing as Little Daniel.

"So what's your name?" I questioned. "Are you covering for little Daniel?" I questioned further causing everyone, but Zoe, to look at me in shock.

Vasco laughed, "What are you talking about (Y/N)? You're so funny."
