(Y/N) walked beside her mother, her small hands wrapped tightly around her mother's pale hand. "Why do I have to greet them with you? Don't you usually do this stuff alone?" She questioned, looking up at her mother with a curious gaze.
"Because this guest has a son dear, about your age." Her mother responded, stopping in front of a door, looking down at her daughter with a warm smile. "Your brother is busy ... with your father." The woman seemed to hesitate with her answer, seeming to try and find the right words to explain. "Besides, it would be nice meeting a new friend don't you think?"
The little girl shrugged as she turned her head to look back at the door, "I guess so." She then looked back up at her mother with a small smile, "I'll do my best to make him feel welcomed! You can count on me!" She jabbed her thumb on her chest, a small giggle leaving the woman's throat.
She then opened the door revealing a large male, unlike her father he was more rounded and had a gentle smile on his features. "Ah! There you are Mrs. Seong." He spoke, even his tone was warm.
(Y/N) watched her mother bow before copying her movements, "Apologies Mr. Kim, I had to fetch my daughter. My son is currently spending some quality time with my husband." She explained herself to which Mr.Kim waved his hand.
"Nah, I believe your daughter will get along with my son even better than Damon would." He then walked over with a little boy, his hand in his. "Little one, this is my son Jake." Mr. Kim introduced as he let go of his son's hand while the boy blew a bubble from the gum he was chewing before it popped.
(Y/N) glanced up at her mother who she gestured for her to introduce herself. She let go of her mother's hand as she walked forward, "Hello. I'm (Y/N)" She spoke with a bright smile to which the boy smiled in return. "Can I show him the gardens?" She questioned Mr. Kim and her mother.
"Yes sweetheart go ahead." Her mother spoke with a nod, (Y/N)'s smile brightening at her answer as she grabbed the boy's hand before pulling him away leaving the two alone. "Now let's discuss the possibility of your campaign." Her mother then closed the door as the two children ran down the halls.

I leaned against the counter of the convenience store as Little Daniel worked behind the counter, Zoe being behind the counter as well. I had to get out of my apartment for a little while as Lola decided screaming at the top of her lungs would be a great pass time and Void was surprisingly able to sleep through her screams. "How long does Lola usually last?" Zoe questioned.
"An hour or so." I shrugged as I unscrewed the cap of my soda bottle before taking a small sip. We then all look over at the sound of the bell signaling the doors being open seeing Jiho and Duke come walking in causing me to raise a brow.
Duke then began to explain this illegal betting going on an angry rant, peaking my curiosity, this was the first I have heard of it. "Betting? What's that?" Little Daniel questioned, looking at the two confused, seeming more confused on what form of betting.
"It's illegal gambling. Do something to stop Jiho. He just keeps going around gettin' robbed." Duke explained, gesturing to Jiho who held an uncertain expression.
"No way! It's a loan! He's paying up today!" Jiho insisted, causing a frown to decorate my features, doubt reaching my eyes.
"Oh! I know about that!" Zoe said as she walked over to Little Daniel's side, placing her elbow on top of his head, leaning up against him. "If you guess the game score you win right?" She questioned with a bright smile.
"No, that is legal sports betting. There is a range of illegal betting games." Duke replied as he and Zoe went back and forth causing me to doze off. It looks like this betting game is becoming more and more popular, but what is the source?
