Name: Dylan Kirsten
Age: 18
Sex: Male
District: Two
Physical Description: He's pretty normal for District Two. He blends in due to his hair, a perfect, sandy blonde. His long bangs tend to fall over his face, giving him the habit of brushing it out of his eyes. It honestly annoys him to the point of considering cutting it himself. His eyes are the normal blue that fills the eyes of almost every person from Two. An almost light sky-like blue, but dark enough not to be surreal. Although he is muscular, his main talent is his quick fingers and smarts, but a little more on that later. And although he is quite normal for Two, most girls find him to be a bit cute, but that is nothing he can change.
Background: His family could arguably be the richest family in all of Two. Now don't let that confuse you, yes, he may have been pampered and spoiled, but that was only as a child. Ever since he turned the age of twelve, the age that children start training for the games, his family changed. His father no longer bought him action figures of the top six tributes of previous games, his mother no longer got his favorite flavor of lollipops, he was on his own, because they knew how to prepare a child for the games. His father, being a victor himself, knew what the seven years before volunteering was like. And it wasn't easy for him.
Personality: Dylan has the smarts that most careers could never have. It's paranormal his parents say, although they know it's a gift. Besides that, Dylan can be a bit of a flirt. But, because many girls find him cute, he can get overwhelmed about it. That, and other things, can bring him to a confused and stressed state, where his instincts take over and he can just go crazy. This is also caused by overwhelming environments, too much attention, and anybody or thing trying to kill him. In his terms, it's natural. Besides all of that, Dylan is fairly nice, but if provoked, can be a real pain, and will not give up in a chase or a fight.
Weapon of Choice: Dylan has a natural attraction to swords. It can be the perfect friend in a battle. That with a shield, like a backpack or rolled up sleeping bag, and he'll be set.
Strengths: His strengths range from his nimble fingers to his skills with a sword, which he has been practicing for seven years, mind you. Other strengths of him is his physical strength itself, which isn't all that impressive, but at least he can break an arm (he doesn't like it when people ask about it), and then his smarts. He knows the difference between a nightlock berry, and a blueberry. It can make a big difference.
Weaknesses: His list of weaknesses must start with his family. He thinks that has family brings him bad luck, but he will still defend them at all costs. If somebody were to threaten his family, he would go crazy. Another weakness would be ranged weapons, slingshot, bow and arrows, and sometimes even blow darts would drive him nuts and possibly cost his life. Even spears and throwing knives would annoy him. If he had a choice between a water bottle and a blow dart, his choice would be the water bottle. Another fear of his would be bugs and insects. Although there aren't many in District Two, he's been stung by a wasp when he was seven. That was enough to hate bugs forever. Another one of his fears would be when he gets into his 'zone', where an overwhelming environment, or a big fear puts him into this phase where everything moving is an enemy.
Token: Dylan wants no token. He believes that if he dies, he doesn't want his family to be his last thought.
Reaped/Volunteered: Dylan volunteered.
Reaction/Reason: He, just like any other career, wants to bring pride to his family. His father, being a Victor himself, encouraged him to do it. Dylan thought that if he could win the games, his family would respect him again.
Alliances: Dylan doesn't know if he should be a part of the careers or not. He knows that if he were to join, it would all end in betrayal. Better to be safe than sorry. The only way he would join an alliance is if he were to personally be requested by somebody, and he doesn't see that happening.
Other: He is an only child, he works well with others, but due to his past, prefers not to.
