"You want to know what I think about?" Elena asked.
"Well, tell me." Ben muttered.
"Picking up a brick and smashing it over your head. All this week your little digs and little windups, so I keep thinking, "How can I make him stop? How can I make him go away?" Elena asked.
"Is that why I'm here?" Asked Ben.
Ben looked around, staring back at Elena.
"Empty park, in the middle of the night?" Ben asked.
"This is exactly how you make me feel. This is what it feels like to be scared." Elena says.
"You think I'm scared?" Ben asked, staring at Elena.
"So for one little minute, you could lose everything." Elena said.
"So, go on. Hit me." Ben tells Elena.

"It's not like you ain't done it before. You've been thinking about it, so hit me. But just remember, I've never actually touched you. You've been thinking about it; hit me." Ben muttered.
Elena stared at Ben.
"Shut me up; make me go away if I disgust you that much. Ain't like you're the first. I was bullied at school, shut out by my dad, and battered in prison. Beaten by the boys that kicked Danielle to death. See, people like me... it's what people like you do. So if it's gonna make you feel better... hit me." Said Ben.
"I just want you to stop!" Elena shouted.
"Hit me." Ben murmured.
"I've... I've got a flat. I've got a boy. I've got everything. Yet, why does it feel so lonely and trapped in a crowded room? I'm so tired of feeling totally..." Elena murmured, looking away from Ben and crying softly.
