2nd August 2019, part two...
Keanu grabbed some water, turning around and staring at Ben...
"I swear to you, I would never ever..." Keanu said.
"Of course you didn't, baby." Louise says.
"What happened?" Jay asked, walking into the room with Lola.
"There's police back at the square." Said Lola.
"Said some lowlifes attacked Phil." Jay says.
"So they know who did it?" Lola asked, staring at Ben.
"No. Still trying to work that out." Ben mumbled.
Keanu stared at Ben.
Ben walked out of the room.
"What's all that about?" Asked Jay.
Sharon walked out of the room, walking over to Ben...
"I'm not pointing any fingers, all right? I'm just saying what I saw." Ben says.
"Phil and Keanu might have had a barney, but it's a massive coincidence, is it? You find out you're not in the will the next minute..." Sharon mumbled.
"If anything happens to dad..." Ben mumbled.
"Don't say that." Said Sharon.
"What do I get from doing something unbelievably stupid as that? Apart from a lot of grief from the old bill, which I'm probably gonna get anyway because of my previous, but Keanu... what would he get? A tasty little payout for starters." Ben mumbled.
"That's ridiculous. He ain't gonna have any money at all, is he? Not if he's behind bars."

"I know that. You know that. Keanu..." Ben said.
"Mrs. Mitchell." Sam says.
"Who are you?" Asked Sharon.
"I'm Sam Morgan. I'm leading the investigation into the attack on your husband. We'll need to take your witness statement now, Mr. Mitchell." Sam tells Ben.
"Course." Ben says.
"And I'll, uh, need to speak to a Keanu Taylor." Said Sam.
Ben and Sharon looked back at Keanu and Louise.
Ben, Sharon, Louise, Jay, and Lola were sitting in the family room silently...
"What's happening?" Sharon asked, standing up and staring at the doctor.
"The operation was successful so far as it went."
"As far as it went? What does that mean?" Sharon asked.
"It means that we relieved the pressure on the brain, which is good news, but we still have no way of knowing if any long-term damage has been done."
"You... you mean brain damaged?" Asked Sharon.
"Given the amount of blood, it may have been building up inside his skull for some time."
"When will you know?" Louise asked.
"At the moment, we're keeping Mr. Mitchell in a medically induced coma. I really wish I had better news, but the truth is, we still have no idea what state he's going to be in when we bring him around."
5th August 2019, part one...
Ben walked out of the mini-market holding some milk...
"Ben." Keanu says.
Ben looked over at Keanu.
"You thought I was banged up? The police know it wasn't me." Said Keanu.
"They kept you in all night." Ben said.
"Yeah... yeah, they took my clothes and everything." Keanu said.
"Can't have anything on you; otherwise, they wouldn't have let you go. I'll keep my head down now if I were you; you've got that scared look in your eye. People might take it the wrong way." Said Ben.
"Of course I'm scared. What if they do pin it all on me?" Keanu asked.
"They let you go, didn't they? You stay positive."
