Nina slammed the half-drunken vodka on the counter, falling back on the couch...
A few minutes later, Callum walked over, and handing Nina and Ben a cup of tea.
"We used to cook together in the kitchens. You get to know someone pretty well when you're cooking for a whole battalion. But that's not it. He saved my life. I'm pretty sure I'd be dead without him." Nina said.
"You should've just told me." Callum tells Nina.
Ben rolled his eyes, checking Nina out.

"I didn't want to." Said Nina.
"How did he save you?" Asked Ben.
"I stood on this bomb... yeah, trust me, I'd be dead without him. Now he's dead." Nina murmured, shrugging her shoulders.
"I would've come with you." Callum said.
"That's the thing I didn't want you to. It's something I had to do alone." Nina mumbled.
"What does that say about us if you can't tell me things like that?" Asked Callum.
"There's just some things I don't want you to know about me. The woman you saw me with was Chris's sister. To be honest, it was quite awkward. There were a lot of guys that were there on my last tour." Nina muttered.
"They weren't saying nothing, were they? About you being discharged and all that? You've got nothing to be ashamed of." Callum says.
"Who says... who says I'm ashamed? You don't know what you're talking about, Callum." Nina mumbled, staring at Callum, grabbing the remote, and switching the TV on.
"Okay, now that we know Nina's safe, I'm gonna shoot. Thanks for the brew. See you two around, yeah?" Ben asked, standing up and staring at them.
Nina nodded, turning the volume up once Nina heard the door close.
"I can't wait to marry you. I'm gonna stand up in front of all those people. I'm gonna tell them. I'm gonna tell them how much I love you."
