It had just gone 11:00pm, and everyone had gone to sleep. We had set up camp, and It was only Skylor and I. After a night of roasting marshmallows by the campfire, the rest of the team had fallen asleep in their tents.
"So.." I held my marshmallow out to the fire. "How are you?"
"Um, great." Skylor stared into the fire. There was an awkward silence before I rolled my eyes and set my marshmallow down.
"This is too awkward." I shrugged. I was expecting Skylor to reply, but she still stared deep into the flames.
"What do you want to do?" I leaned back on the grass.
"It's 11:00pm, I don't think there's much to do." Skylor frowned.
"Come on, there's something wrong." I sat up. At that moment, Skylor started sobbing in her hands.
"Oh my gosh!" I stood up and ran to sit with her. "What's up?"
"I've seen things that I've never wanted to see. People's minds being manipulated!" She cried. I didn't know what to say, so I just hugged her.
"Don't worry. We're going to fix Jay. Ninja never quit, and that's including Jay."
"Thanks." Skylor wiped her eyes. "But I'm going to bed." Before I could stop her, Skylor got up and dissapeared into her orange tent, leaving me staring into the flames.

"Finally!" I yell. It was 8:00am, and I had just seen a glimpse of a tall mountain.
"Ah, Mina Mountain. I remember digging here." Misako clutched her scrolls and smiled up at the monument.
"That's the mountain's name?" Cole frowned and raised an eyebrow. "Mina mountain?"
"The mountain's name is totally irrelevant to the properties of it, Cole." Zane informed.
"Thanks, Tin Can." Cole shrugged and kept walking.
"I don't care what the mountain's name is. As long as we can fix Jay, I'm in." Skylor started walking faster, to avoid our comments. I looked at Cole and Zane, and they just shrugged.
***
"I've- *grunt* had enough- *grunt* of climbing- *grunt* mountain's!" I grumbled, pulling myself up into another ledge.
"Where does this man live, Misako?" Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Cole skipping 3 ledges, and jumping an impossible distance.
"We're almost there. Just a few more moments-" Misako was interrupted.
"I see a cabin!" Cole's voice echoed over the valley below.
"Shut up, motor mouth! You'll get us kicked out!" I climbed the last ledge and punched him softly in the arm.
"But we can finally find out how we can fix Jay! Come on, we're wasting time!" Skylor ran ahead of us.
"What is up with you?!" Cole grunted, running after her.
***
Knock knock! Misako gently knocked on the cabin's door. Talking of the cabin, it was teeny tiny! About the size of a small bedroom.
"Come in!" A wrinkly old voice called. Misako glanced at us, before turning the door knob and going inside. All there was was a desk, a bed (behind the desk), a till, and some shelves, stocked up full of purple, green and blue potions. There was a wire on the ceiling, and hanging from it, was a half-broken lightbulb.
"Yes, I know, it isn't much. Oh, Misako! You've returned!" A figure emerged from the shadows. He had a wrinkly old face, a dobby-like cloth hanging around him, a long, grey beard and a walking stick. "And, who are your pupils?"
"Ah, Duncan, these are not my students, but my friends. Duncan, meet Kai, Cole, Zane, and, oh! Not forgetting Skylor. We all smiled at him.
"Hello, Coin, Ale, xylophone and socks! Such odd names. Ah well, the past is the past."
"Ale?" Cole whispered to me. "Alcohol isn't really my thing!"
"How can I help you?" The old man asked.
