Taraji

"This would look so good on you Taraji, come here." I walked over to where Fantasia was standing in front of a mirror and let her put a dress over me. My eyes were pleased by the beautiful deep red dress she had picked out. She was smiling like a little playful kid and I couldn't help but laugh at her enthusiasm.

"You're so cute, Fantasia."

"Imagine this dress on you with some gold jewelry. A little black pouch and some black heels."

"Hm. I like your vision."

"We're holding on to this one for you to try on." She quickly took the dress back and threw it over her arm. I skimmed around all the dresses to try and find something I thought would match her vibe. I settled on a long dark green dress with a floral top. It looked figure forming so I immediately brought it over to her.

"Fantasia," I said slowly. She found her way back over to me and saw what I was holding.

"That is gorgeous, is that for you?"

"No ma'am it's for you, put it on."

"Now?" I nodded my head and I reached out to take the things in her arms. She took the dress and went over to the dressing rooms.

I continued to look around at shoes and purses until she called out for me. I quickly went back over and she came from behind the curtains revealing her and the gorgeous dress. I was at an absolute loss for words as she looked at herself in the mirror. Her back was turned, so I know she saw me my eyes light up when I watched her.

"I love this." She gave me a few poses and all I did was smile. She gave me entire run down of everything she loved about the dress, but I stood in awe. "Taraji," she sung out to get my attention.

"Yes ma'am." I was shaken out of my thoughts and brought back into reality. She giggled and walked over to me. I grabbed her arms and smiled at her. "You look very beautiful in this."

"Thank you, baby." I felt my stomach shake and my smile or even bigger. "Now you try tours on. We can take pictures with the dresses."

I agreed and gave one of the store attendants the clothes I had in my hands. I quickly went to go change and came back out the meet Fantasia. She was patiently waiting on me with a smile and when I came out. She wrapped her arm around my waist and pulled out her phone for a mirror picture. She took quite a few pictures of us just smiling. She got a little touchy in a few of them, though. After 5 shots, she turned her body into mine and I grabbed her hip to match the vibe. She looked me in the eyes and kissed the top of my head. She finished her pictures and scrolled through her gallery to show me.

All of the previous pictures were normal until she got to the last few. We looked so good together. I stared at myself through her phone, slightly embarrassed by my obsessive looking grin.  "You're gorgeous, Taraji. You were made for the camera." I shrugged and she pulled me into a hug. "Let's get these off and get ready to go, we have a few more stores to hit up before dinner."

She let me completely go a went off to get the dress off. I found myself stupidly reaching out for her once she left my grasp. I did the same as she was doing and we went on about our shopping.

I sat in the booth area next to my friend Lincoln and people were cutting up having a good time. Fantasia left to meet someone outside, leaving me alone. Drinks were brought to us around the table and I was downing them like there was no tomorrow. My head has been in a tizzy since that boutique in the mall. Fantasia had me thinking and feeling things I had never felt before.

"If I had the confidence you have in your shoots, I'd be on top too girl." Lincoln was talking to another model I never cared enough to get the name of. He kept tapping me on my arm to get me involved in the conversations they were having, but I couldn't be bothered. A few minutes into waiting for Fantasia to come back, she finally reappeared with a not so good look on her face. She looked at me and tilted her head to let me know she needed to talk to me. I excused myself to get past everyone.

I rushed over to her and I could tell she was getting pretty inpatient. We made our way outside and I pulled her near a wall. Her eyes were red and running. "Hey what happened?" I rubbed her neck to calm her down.

"I think...I think Colt wants to leave me. He's been so put offish about everything and he hasn't spent a second with me outside of the villa. I don't think this is just him being scared of something." She tried to keep rambling but her words were taken over by cries. I rubbed her back and let her get what she needed to out. Whatever makeup she was wearing stuck to her face like glue, and the only real way to tell the was crying was by her eyes.

"Where is he now?"

"I don't know, I didn't see him this morning when I woke up and I kept texting him while I was out. I got nothing. What if he's trying to leave?"

"We don't know if that's the cause Tasia, what do you need me to do right now?"

"Just keep me company in there," she shrugged her shoulders, "distract me from this."

"Are you sure? We can go back to your villa and try to see if we can get him back."

"No, no. I want to enjoy my trip. If he doesn't turn up then we can just talk that out later on. I don't have the energy to keep stressing about this."

"Ok." I responded and held her where she was. "Just tell me when you're ready to go in."

"Thank you." She responded and threw her arm over my shoulders. We waited there until her tears subsided, and finally, we were back to enjoying our night.

Hey, how are you?😏
I like doing sign outs, it feels more personal than just ending the chapter.
