Kali was limping her way toward the manor in the distance. Her leg was impaled from the foot up. Her side was pierced. Her back was pierced and cut. Her shoulder was slashed. Her eye was cut. Her wounds were slowly building up and she kept her focus and kept walking. She finally reached the gate of the manor.
"Welcome, filth." A regal voice sounded out. The gates slowly opened and out on the balcony came a woman. Her legs were made of crystal her body made of glass her arms of porcelain and her hair of gold. Her face was an empty blank slate like a doll without facial features. The only thing visible was her red glowing heart inside the glass.
"I am the Empress. The lord's favorite and his last bastion. If you want to reach him in the church behind this manor. You shall first strike out my heart which beats for him!" She moved a hand forward.
"Listen here lady-" Kali stomped the ground and dragged her leg forward. She stood up straight and looked angrily at The Empress with her lone eye.
"I've been through enough this eve to give a damn who and what you are. I will take ya down and then go slap the living hell out of that bastard." Kali said.
"I see." The woman said.
"Filth to the core." The woman waved her hand toward her.
"Well, then. Come fight me!" Kali shouted.
"Oh, I am not a fighter. I have people to do my stuns for me." The woman pointed a hand forward.
"ATTACK!" She shouted. You heard creaking as the gate of the manor sprung open.
"Fuck..." Kali said as she adjusted herself, opening her satchel and grabbing her taser.
"PLANNED 10000 VOLT, BEAM SWORD!" She shouted as the taser's lightning erupted in spark and turned into a long thin blade of lightning. The manor was swarmed with porcelain soldiers and marble golems.
"If you want to cut out my heart. You will have to reach me up here!" The woman shouted.
"You know damn well I will!" Kali charged forward and swung her sword, cutting the soldier in half. There were four kinds of soldiers. Porcelain archers on the roof with weak armor and longbows. Porcelain guards with a shield sword and heavy armor. Porcelain warrior with a two-handed sword and medium armor and giant golems made of marble.
Kali's sword had reached one of the warriors.
"Kill her!" The Empress shouted. All of them advanced on her.
"Take aim!" The empress shouted as the archers all took aim. Kali moved toward the manor, dodging sword swing after sword swing. A guard jumped in front of her, slamming her with his shield.
"Fuck." She stumbled back, bleeding from her nose even more than before.
"There is too many." Kali thought as she barely dodged the incoming attack from the one behind her. She swung her sword, cutting down the guard and two warriors.
"PREPARE!" The empress called out as the bows were drawn.
"Shit." Kali ran toward a giant golem, sliding under it, cutting off both of its legs. The Golems were as large as the manor wall itself. The golem fell down on a knee as Kali used it as a umbrella.
"FIRE!" A hail of arrows erupted over the courtyard. The golem took most of the arrows, breaking the monster apart.
"Shit." Kali dodged to the side, avoiding the rubble.
"Fool." The empress said as she raised her hand again, making the archers take aim again. Kali spun around, cutting another warrior in half.
"You can't keep doing forever, filth." The empress said pointing her hand forward. The Archers prepared their bows again.
"Shit. No cover." Kali looked toward the other golems but they were guarded by the army by now. She grabbed her satchel and threw it into the air.
"IMPROVISED 100000000000000 volt!" She shouted as the satchel began to bubble and glow.
"nuke..." She said coldly as she put on her goggles and jumped away from the satchel. The satchel exploded in a massive explosion, breaking the arrow barrage apart. The archers were blasted off the roof. The army was melted apart and the mansion broke into pieces. Kali slid over the ground, flinching in pain from her damaged leg.
"There. Now only to reach the empress." Kali ran toward the mansion. The whole frontal part of the mansion was grumbling to the ground. Kali only had her backpack now which held a very unique weapon and her taser. She used every last battery to create this powerful explosion, leaving a single opening. She grabbed onto a pillar and climbed up onto the second floor.
"You think it is that easy?!" The empress shouted as more warriors came out of the ground of the second floor. Ther numbers had dwindled.
"I just kill all of them with a single weapon. You think a few will stop me?!" Kali shouted as she charged forward, cutting down golem after golem. The taser sword melted the warriors.
"You might have numbers but I have weaponry!" Kali shouted as she slammed down a door in front of her. The Empress stared her down inside, or well so she thought as the empress was faceless.
"Now die!" Kali grabbed her sword and ran toward her.
"No, stay away!" The Empress shouted as she raised a hand. The manor twisted and morphed as it shot at her in tendrils. The attack mimicked the painting that attacked her at the start and almost goo-like liquid state.
"So it was you!" Kali cut the parts of the living reality apart.
"No matter what. You won't stop me from reaching him. HE DESERVE DEATH!" Kali shouted.
"HE DESERVE SALVATION!" The Empress shouted as she moved a hand into the air. A giant glass hand erupted from the ground, reaching out for Kali.
"SALAVATION MY ASS!" Kali cut the hand in half, jumping into the air. The empress leaped out of the building, creating glass stairs for her to walk down to reach the courtyard. Kali's sword hit the ground and expanded, moving over the whole side of the manor, cutting it in half.
"He is misunderstood and alone. You shan't take his last angel from him!" The empress shouted raising her hands. Giant marble arms rose from the ground, trying to grasp Kali.
"He is a monster!" Kali shouted as she cut the air with her sword. The arms were cut in half, breaking apart right after.
"HOW WOULD YOU KNOW?!" The Empress shouted.
"HAVE YOU SEEN THIS?!" Kali spread out her arms, indicating the world they were in.
"ITS BEAUTIFUL!" She shouted.
"It's...rot," Kali said as she leaped forward into the courtyard again, landing a few meters away from the empress.
"A little house on a hill. A cave of darkness. A circus of horror and a manor of diamonds. Tell me" Kali said as she stood up, walking toward her with a limp.
"What is so beautiful about all this?!" Kali shouted as she swung her sword.
"Ah!" The Empress' arm was cut off as she tried to protect herself using her arm.
"GO AWAY!" The empress shouted, raising her other arm. Glass spikes came out of the ground, piercing Kali all over her upper body.
"GAH." Kali coughed out blood but then her eyes saw red. She took one step forward, breaking the spikes apart as she swung her sword, cutting the body and heart in half.
"There..." Kali said as the empress' body crumbled. She fell to the ground, using a vial to collect the last amount of blood.
"Fuck." Kali turned to her back. Her vision was blurry as she looked at her taser. It began to crumble apart from the overcharging.
"One last...walk," Kali said, standing up. She limped her way around the manor and saw a small road leading to a small rundown church. She walked along the road and entered the church. It was the same as the start. She went over to the altar and started to pour the liquid of The doll into it. A voice erupted from the room."Lea Rose Arcenstein. Age 22. All she wanted was to stay beautiful forever. So I granted her wish and gave her a body that couldn't rot and a beautiful home to stay in."
She then poured the liquid of The Listener.
"Emily De Raktour. Age 28. Born blind all she enjoyed in this world was the sounds and thought herself not beautiful. I wanted to prove that she truly could be beautiful even if she couldn't see."
Next was the Harlequin.
"Eliza Artificus Von Strinda. Age 14.My little sister who always cared so deeply for me. She was but a hindrance to my artistic view so I gave her a little show she could put on."
Lastly the Empress.
"Ilfrit Ingefær Frydensan. Age 32. A high buyer of my every auction. A fan of mine who always loved my art. Gave her body and soul for my art and became my Empress."
The altar began to glow as the glass broke apart, leading into a hallway. Kali sighed and began to slowly limp forward into the darkness.
"The four angels, oh my four angels. All reflected a part of me."
A Monologue started as Kali walked down the long hallway toward a pure white door.
"Lea Rose Arcenstein. A desire I so could understand. To stay beautiful forever. To be recognized forever. To always be there in people's hearts and minds. A desire to stay here forever."
Kali grimaced.
"Ya turned an innocent girl into a doll and left her to her own devices inside this twisted hell hole ya call a world.""Emily De Raktour. A girl who was blind but I could sympathize with this. All she ever wanted was to be heard and seen. I want to be heard. To be experienced by people. An artist's dream is to be seen!"
Kali bit her tongue.
"Ya took a blind girl and turned her into a fucking tree...She was all alone in that cave for how long. You disgust me.""Eliza Artificus Von Strinda. My own blood. Oh how you could relate to my nature, but you were in the way of my view. So you had to reflect the darkness from inside me. By laying upon you all my darkness I could now see lights that no human could ever see."
"YOUR OWN...sister." Kali's fury was building as she approached the door with heavy steps.
"ilfrit ingefær Frydensan. My empress. One who truly understood me. You didn't even have to be convinced to join my world. You offered your body and soul to my art. You truly are one with me. You reflect the purest part of me. The most brutal part of me. My arrogance and pride!"
"And now she reflects the light of the moon in her shattered body," Kali said as she grabbed the door and pushed it open.
The whole white room she was in before had now vanished. The walls were painted in different colors and motifs. She soon came to realize it was paintings of her and her experiences inside this twisted world. She could see her in the cave. Her fighting in the doll house. Her moving through the circus. Her moving toward the manor. At the top of the roof was the Virtuoso dangling from a rope, using a small paintbrush to paint a spiraling staircase toward a white door.
"So you arrive at my humble parlor." The Virtuoso looked down at her. Kali limped toward him. He slowly lowered himself down on the giant pedestal in the middle and stood on his own feet with his flip-flops.
"Welcome back, ma fleur." He grinned.
"So this is it, huh? I'm just your next painting?" Kali asked.
"Oh no. You are my next angel. Understand that you truly shine with a determination and beauty like a flower in a hurricane." He grinned as he pointed at her with his paintbrush.
"SAME RULE APPLY, MA FLEUR. TOUCH ME AND I SHALL SURRENDER!" He shouted.Kali spat on the ground. Her limping leg dragging her body forward.
