The giant armor moved through the sea like a leaf through the wind, gliding as if nothing is holding on to him. He approached the island itself and went deeper into the dark sea. There he saw a long thin stretch of thin tubes. He approached them and pressed his hands against them. I front of him were kilometers of long and isolated tube halls that stretched like a labyrinth into the deep ocean, going down to what looked like a giant box underwater. Seemingly the basement level. The armor pressed his hand against the glass. Clearly the glass was reinforced. He looked around there should be some sort of docking station for the tubes, but there wasn't. Seemingly these tubes served some sort of function other than hallway, but he couldn't clearly understand what. He started to make his way to the surface and walked over the land. He entered the ruined prison and made his way to the spire with heavy steps and then down toward the elevator. He took it down into the deep and soon found himself on the inside of the tubes. He took a heavy step into the corridor. The creaking of his armor echoed over the long halls.
"Haaaaa." A metallic humming echoed from the helmet as the monster walked down the long halls. He had one mission and that was to find the monster hunting these long stretches of halls and kill it. He clenched his fist a few times as he walked, looking at his rusty fist, and then suddenly he felt the presence of something or someone. He stopped up as the cyclops-like red lens flare on his helmet moved around like the pupil of an eye.
"Hiss!" A large hissing sound echoed in the halls. The diver slowly started his marching again as he walked around, the red glow moving slowly back and forward.
"RAH!" A voice suddenly echoed above him as a creature came into view, like manifesting from thin air. It flew down and hit into the heavy armor, but the armor sustained the attack. The Diver grabbed the thing by the tail and tossed it across the hall. The creature landed on the ground and quickly scurried away. The Diver pointed his hand at it and a black aura erupted from the hand as black lines manifested above the creature and shot into it, but the creature was too quick and dodged the black lines. The moment the lines hit the reinforced glass underneath. The glass started to break apart, from pure pressure being applied to it. The monster knew he had found his target. With heavy and slow steps he chose to follow the creature. The creature had stopped running and was looking at him.
The man, the creature in front of the Diver was not taller than that of a dog. It was sitting on all fours like a dog. Its ears were long going down to the side of its hips. Long fur-like dog ears. Its eyes were that of an eagle. Sharp and distinct. Its hair was long sharp strands going in front of its body and behind it. Looking closer it was more akin to that of a porcupine's needles. It was wearing a white shirt loosely buttons and black pants. Two large sabertooth-like fangs hang out of its mouth. He was covered in fur from top to toe. A thin layer like that looks like a lion. Its hands had long thin claws on them like a cat's claw and there seemed to be swimming skin between the fingers like a duck foot. His feet were almost like a rabbit's foot and his knees bent backward like that of a goat. Gills were on the side of this creature's neck and it seemed like it had a long thin furless rat tail dangling behind it, but other than that. The torso and head and limp almost looked human. A human-animal hybrid.
The Diver looked at the creature that was staring back at him.
"Hiss." The creature let out a hissing sound and quickly moved back, moving back his back legs so they pressed hard against the glass. The diver took a heavy step forward and pointed his hand at the monster. The Missing Link shot forward and ran on the glass wall. It flew forward toward the Diver, but the golem swatted with his hand, trying to punch it away, right before the hand touched the creature it began to hiss and wings shot out of its back, stopping its momentum. The golem looked confused as the thing moved forward after his swing. The creature landed on his arm and tried to claw into his armor, but its nails broke on the armor. It screeched out and jumped up on to the roof and began to crawl away. The diver moved his hand forward as it was shrouded in darkness once more. Black lines shot forward and hit the creature. It was slammed into the ground with such force you could hear bones crack.
"CRA...CRAHHH!" It began to screech out, but The Diver didn't stop. It walked toward it with heavy steps. The Diver slowly moved his fingers as the force began to drag the creature toward him.
"Hiss, hiss!" It continue to hiss as it tried to claw the ground to drag itself to safety. The Diver would grab the monster by its tail and swing it with all its might at the glass wall, leaving a giant blood pool on the wall. He dropped the creature on the floor before stepping one step closer to it and stomping on its head. The head collapsed into a puddle of blood underneath its foot. The Diver looked at the body as it moved its feet away from the monster. The Missing Link just lay there. Head gone and dead. The Diver turned to leave and walked away, leaving bloody footprints on the ground.
