The tail began to bubble violently as a small sphere erupted from the tail, slowly moving up. It was in the form of an egg or more like a cacoon. The Diver looked at it as he moved his hand forward. Black lines erupted from his hand like static lightning. All of it shot toward the egg. The egg burst open as a black shadow moved away from it. The tail was hit and broken more, slowly sinking into the deep.
"Hiss ya think, ya can jusssssst kill me like that?" The Diver turned to the side, seeing that on the beach was a creature.

it stood tall like a human. Long slender legs. Its upper body was bare, but not in the same sense as a normal human. It had fur on its shoulders and arms and over most of its body, making it look like it was wearing some sort of fur coat. It had slicked-back hair, but instead of hair, it was spikes from a porcupine. Its ears were like a human's ears. Its eyes were different now. The left eye was like an eagle but the right eye was like a cat. Large sabertooth fangs hung out of the mouth still but now they weren't as large as before, making it more like fangs of a vampire. His hands were still claw-like but the claws were more refined now to small sharp nails. There also still seemed to be swimming skin between his fingers. Instead of rabbit feet, he now had hoofs for feet. Its tail had vanished but on his back rested two long eagle wings.

The Diver looked at the creature.
"Ya pussssshed me far enough, Diver." The creature turned to him as the wings would shoot toward his own body, wrapping around him like a coat.
"Finally sssssomeone pushed me to the brink of evolution." It began to cackle as it moved toward the diver with light and steady footsteps. The Diver didn't hesitate to move his hand up once again, collecting black lightning around his hand.
"Oh, you sssstill wanna fight me after sssseeing thisssss perfection?" The Diver didn't even react to the comment as he slowly untangled his fingers, moving his hand into a wide palm. Unleashing the power from his hand. The Missing Link grinned as it moved a wing forward, slapping the approaching lightning. The wing was destroyed but the lightning was redirected to the sandy grounds underneath him. The wing dangled from its broken bones but in just a few seconds the wing began to hyper-regenerate.
"You sssssee?" The Missing Link grinned as the wing wrapped closely around him. He traced a claw over one of the feathers.
"No matter what ya throw at me. I will jusssssst regenerate." It grinned, showing off its fangs. The Diver lowered his arm again and with a heavy stomp took a step further. The Missing link at first was surprised at the gesture but then broke into a cunning smile.
"Oh ho hoooooo." The Missing Link laughed softly and then began to walk toward The Diver.
"You have no fear it sssseemssss. Sssseems like I need to give ya demonsssstration of my power."

A big lightning struck across the sky as rain started to pour down on the island. The two face each other.
"Well then-" The Missing Link grinned from ear to ear.
"Have at thee..." It hissed out as it flew forward in the blink of an eye, swinging its claw with all its might. The Diver was hit and you could hear the metal bend from the force, creaking and the diver was sent flying, spinning in mid-air. He crashed against the beach only to slowly try to get up. The Missing Link was above him before he knew it diving into his hoof first. The hoof hit with such force that the Diving suit began to break a bit. The Diver quickly moved his hand up wrapping it around the hoofed foot. Lightning erupted up his hand, crushing the leg instantly. The Missing Link flew back and slid over the ground as its leg began to break and twist back into position.
"You are outmatched, armor!" It flew forward again, almost breaking apart the sound barrier.
"HAWK STRIKE!" There was a moment of silence before The Diver was sent flying away from the island and slammed into the water as the ocean almost parted. The Missing Link would grin as every finger on his hand was broken from a pressure sent out from the Diver but there was a metal plate stuck to his claws.
"That wasssss quick. He broke them the moment I made contact...Interesssting." He swung his arm, making the plate fly to the ground.
