The spider stomped the ground one last time as he slowly leaned his lean body forward. All the spines slowly drifted forward all of them pointing directly at Clark. Clark threw his dagger into the air, making it levitate in front of him.
"You have proven your worth." The Spider said as all of the spines slowly drifted forward.
"I don't care about your approval." The Phantom said as he leaned forward and then stomped the ground with his right leg, moving as fast he could toward the Spider. The Spider in turn quickly shot all of the spines forward. Clark would weave with his hand, making the knife fly around at a high speed, deflecting the spines. He would switch places with the knife and take one step forward, placing a punch to The Spider's face. The spider would roll over the ground and then stand up as the spines would whip around, crashing against the walls and ground.
"Reckless attacks. You aren't even aiming at me anymore." Clark said as the knife caught up with him and took it into his hand. He moved the knife down to around his hip height and slowly walked toward The Spider. The Spider would let a hissing sound escape his mouth as he slowly stood up.
"You think you have me all figured out, huh? You are a mere mercenary. I AM THE SPIDER!" The Spider hissed as he went down on all fours.
"Marrow field!" He roared as he leaped forward, running on all fours, making his body mold into a perfect shape for this kind of movement. He touched the ground and shot himself forward, but the touch made the ground rumble. Spikes shot out from the ground around him. He was making a spiky minefield as he ran. Clark moved his knife up and prepared for the incoming attack, only to realize that the spikes and the onslaught on its way would be too much to deal with. Clark slowly looked around, trying to figure a way to do this, when he saw some rubble.
"Let's try." He said as he moved his hand toward the rubble. The rubble began to shake and move up. Clark spun around and pushed his hand forward as the rubble gained momentum and then shot toward The Spider as a boulder. The Spider leaped into the air as millions of bones shot out of his arm, turning it into a large white whip. The whip cracked the boulder in half as The Spider landed on the ground again and ran toward Clark. Clark would weave his hand toward the ground and then slowly raise it as the ground would shake and stones on stones would shoot up from the ground.
"You not the only one who can use the ground," Clark said as he moved one single finger. The finger vibrated but didn't do anything...yet. The Spider broke through the onslaught of stone and then leaped toward Clark. He moved his arm which he slowly turned into a giant whip of marrow.
"Got you," Clark said as he moved a single finger toward himself. The knife came flying at max speed, piercing the Spider's throat.
"GAH!" The Spider fell forward, coughing out blood. Clark would spin the finger around as the knife would drill into the throat.
"W-when!" The Spider screeched out. Clark would grin. His small finger movement had been used to switch places with a big of rubble behind The Spider and his knife, making the onslaught of rocks a distraction.
"It's finally over. NOW-" Clark shouted as he moved his hand forward.
"YOU-" He moved his hand up.
"DIE!" Clark roared as the knife cut deeply into the throat and the head popped off The Spider's head. Clark would take a deep breath and fall back, sitting on the ground as the knife dropped next to him.
"Damn...I never used my power so much before. Having to control the ground like that..." Clark said as he looked at The Spider's decapitated body.
"You...think...I'm...dead." The spider roared out in small bursts. Clark quickly got to his feet holding out his knife. The Spider's body slowly stood up.
"I won't die that easily." The head was speaking but the body was moving. The body slowly walked over to the head and grabbed it. A bone shot out from inside the neck and flew over to the head, connecting the two and zooming them back together.
"How the fuck?!" Clark shouted.
"I am my body and my body is me. I won't die from a simple cut to the throat." The Spider said as the hole was still in his neck.
"I am not that easy to kill." The Spider grinned as the bone marrow slowly sank out of the skin on his arm again, turning into a giant whip.
"Fuck." Clark thought as he jumped back. The whip crashed against the ground. Not only did it break the ground, but small ruptures of bone spikes erupted from the whip collision. Clark would slide over the ground as he threw the knife into the air and made it levitate.
"Just die!" Clark shouted as he pushed his hand forward sending the knife flying toward The Spider, teleporting rapidly forward.
"You shan't keep this up!" The Spider shouted as the bone whip shot forward with massive speed. The speed had increased and Clark didn't even get time to act before the whip wrapped around him and tossed him against the ground.
"Gah!" Clark let out a cough of blood as he quickly regained his footing and he looked up to see the whip come toward him again. He would move his knife forward, making it spin around again, and then shoot it at max speed. The Knife collided with the whip and broke it apart.
"There," Clark said as he teleported to the knife and grabbed it, swinging his body and in a spinning motion cutting into The Spider's chest. The spider would fly over the ground, leaving behind a pool of blood.
"That should-" He didn't even get to finish his sentence before bones shot at him from the body. Clark deflected them, cutting into them.
"I told you!" He roared as he stood up.
"I don't die that easily!" He flew forward again. Clark barely deflected the incoming whip attack, before The Spider moved his knee up and slammed it into Clark's stomach. The knee would erupt with spikes and pierce into Clark's body. Clark would growl and then teleport away, trying to get some distance, but the Spider would run at him at max speed, moving his spines forward to try to stab him. Clark deflected the incoming attacks only to slide down onto his knee, dodging the incoming swing from The Spider's whip. Clark would push forward, stabbing the knife into the Spider's abdomen, but it didn't stop the monster. The monster grabbed Clark by the neck and threw him toward the wall. Clark slammed against it and lost all the air in his lungs. He would crumble down onto the ground, taking in a deep breath.
"Here you are, Clark." The spider would walk toward him, slowly letting the bones move into his body as a single bone moved out of his palm. Clark looked up at him as The Spider stood towering over him, moving the bone sword into the air.
"Fuck you," Clark said with a grin. The Spider grinned back and then swung the knife downward. Then suddenly.
A bright light erupted in the sky. Stopping the two in their track. The light shone over the whole area. Clark looked up, covering his eyes with a hand. The Spider hissed and jumped away from Clark.
"What are you doing?!" The Spider shouted.
"This isn't me?" Clark said as he stood up, thankful for the distraction. It gave him time to regain his footing. The light vanished as fast as it appeared.
"That was almost like a camera lens." Clark thought as he grabbed his knife tightly. He looked at the Spider who also had turned his attention to the area. The Spider slowly walked toward where the light came from.
"Hiss...Bastard." The Spider said, before turning his gaze back to Clark.
"No more games. This ends here!" The Spider said as he kneeled down.
"TWIST OH TWIST!" The Spider roared as all the bones shot out of his body and began to twist. They slowly reached into his body again as his skin began to bubble. He stood up slowly as a singular bone moved out his back. It slowly twisted over him as a large scorpion tail was dangling over his body. The tail was made of bones twisted on top of each other.
"What the?" Clark thought as he grabbed his knife.
"Die." The Spider said as the bone piercer slowly moved forward and then like a thunderclap it moved forward at such a high-speed Clark didn't even realize he had been stabbed through his stomach before he was laying up against the wall again.
"Fu." Clark couldn't even speak. The Spider slowly moved toward Clark again as blood dripped from the spiked tip of the tail.
"I have had enough. I will finish this now." The Spider said. Clark slowly stood up.
"I have to get away." Clark thought. The tail moved forward slowly and Clark's eye snapped open. You heard an explosion as the wall got crushed into millions of pieces as Clark had teleported in the last second, reaching the crumbled wall.
He jumped up and then jumped backward into the courtyard. He looked around and then fell backward. He rolled down a hill and then landed in the mud.
"This wasn't here before." Clark thought as he stood up. He was covered in mud and blood.
"Where are you?!" The Spider roared. Clark slowly knelt down, trying to keep himself hidden.
"I need to find a way to sneak attack him." Clark thought as he slowly moved through the muddy terrain. He saw all the spikes smashed into the ground as he slowly weaved through the muddy area. He soon reached the middle of the courtyard where there used to lay a giant hole of water, but it was but a crater.
"What is going on here?" Clark thought as he slid down the hole. He saw two silhouettes in the dark.
"No..." Clark said as he saw it. He saw Terrick on the ground, not moving and the time stopped Entertainer.
"No no no." Clark jumped down and moved into the mud to reach Terrick. Terrick's eye was still slowly ticking and kept open, locked on the Entertainer.
"What the fuck happened out here." Clark thought as he looked around. Terrick's eyes slowly ticked but there wasn't any movement between them. He saw that the pieces of Terrick's wind-up on his arm were levitating in the air. The pieces were broken but still just stuck there. He softly poked one of them as it levitated a bit and then slowly moved back.
"God damn it." Clark thought as he turned around to look up at the hill. He saw a silhouette standing up there. HE looked back at Terrick.
"Not another one. Not again. This can't be happening." Clark thought as he looked up at the silhouette. The silhouette slowly moved a tail into the air.
"So you succumb to the weaklings, Benedict." The Spider said in disgust. Clark would grab his knife and then look back at Terrick.
"This is bad. This is bad...I need to contact Lang. It might not be too late." Clark thought as he looked up at the Spider.
"Lost to a simple man like that. That finally proves it. Entertainer." He said, using the title of the others in a mocking way.
"I will truly be the strongest of us two. because I'm about to finish this fight." The Spider slowly moved down toward Clark as the moonlight shined in the distance behind him, illuminating the fearsome foe, making it seem truly impossible to escape the spider's net now.
