The Diver regained his stance a few minutes later. He had been blasted out into the cold deep of the water and was now completely surrounded by darkness. Luckily for him, his suit was perfect for this kind of combat. He looked around a few times as his suit's eye began to glow brighter, sending out a bright red beam of light. This light scanned the surroundings like a sonar. He couldn't sense anything. The lights in the tunnels had been completely smashed by the water pressure, meaning there was darkness all around. He began to move through the water at a slow pace, scanning. He couldn't get the image of the Missing links changing form out of his head. He slowly moved toward the shattered glass hall. He found the place where he was shot out and moved into it. That is when he saw something. One of the glass halls further up was not filled with water. He floated up to the area to see that the glass had been melted slightly to be brought back together. The flames were purple and lingered even underwater. He looked down to see this road lead directly into the basement. he concluded that the other fighter had safely gone through. He moved back down to the area with the open glass and moved into the paths. The monster patrols the glass halls so maybe he wouldn't leave the area but he couldn't possibly survive in here unless he evolved into something more fitting. He remembered the gills on the monster's neck, meaning it could breathe underwater, but the image of the shifting still lingered. The golem of a man stopped moving and let the red sonar beam scan out into the dark again. It didn't even travel more than a meter before it met something. The golem quickly moved back as a giant jaw slammed down on the glass and broke it apart. The Diver barely made it out as the glass tube broke apart like a twig in a steel jaw. His eye scanned forward again only to meet with a giant wall. He moved his hand forward, preparing his pressure ability as two giant eyes slowly opened in a perfect dark green color. The Diver quickly moved his hand forward as massive waves of pressure moved through the water. A menacing roar could be heard as the water shot toward the Diver again, pushing him around the watery depths. The creature moved through the water. It was the size of a building. The length of it alone was like 30 meters and the size of its mouth was massive. The water hole was deep and the Diver was now trapped down there with a giant, sharp-fanged, underwater sea snake monster. He quickly came to the conclusion that the sea monster must be The Missing Link. It must have adjusted into an underwater form. To think something so small in the tube could transform into something so giantic and menacing. Truly this creature was ever-evolving.
"Explain it to me again. What kinda creature is the Missing Link, Sire." The Psychologist asked as the two looked at the chessboard. Showing the underwater section.
"He was a creation of mine way back. I took but a simple creature and used my power to ever put more information into its DNA strand. This creature will forever change between different stages and evolve. Right now...Because of the high pressure and underwater atmosphere. The Levithan strand came out in its DNA...My proudest work." The King laughed. The diver shot through the water, moving at high speed as the giant eyes followed close behind him. The giant abyss opened up on its face, showing an endless amount of spikes and teeth. The Diver moved his hand up as his giant red eye erupted in a bright firey light. The pressure around him changed and the water around him shot forward, leaving him inside a small bubble of air. The water pushed against the giant monster, sending it flying back into the water. He quickly moved toward the surface. The leviathan regained its momentum and shot around. Its tail swiped through the water, making it move up toward him in a quick motion. The Diver turned around and in annoyance grabbed the harpoon in his elbow. He pulled it out, allowing green-like goo to erupt into the water around him from the wound. He spun the harpoon around and tossed it, moving his hand forward. A black aura wrapped around the harpoon as it shot down through the water, cleaving the H20 away from it. The Levithan roared and swung to the side dodging the incoming attack, but the Diver moved his hand to the side, and following the hand motion, the harpoon changed direction and impaled into the side of the monster. Like a toothpick in a giant cow. The diver's helmet glowed up as he clenched his fist. Black lines shot from all around the levithan, collecting around the harpoon, and trapping the levithan in the black sphere. He clenched his fist more and more as The Levithan began to wiggle and roar in pain. The body of the monster slowly gets crushed.
