"So, I only have to touch you." Kali walked forward with heavy steps. Blood leaking from every part of her body.
"Oh yes. A simple touch. A graze of my astonishing physique and you shall be granted a swift victory, ma fleur." The Virtuoso lowered himself down to her as the world shifted around him, moving to make sure he didn't fall as he walked on air, pedestals raising and catching his feet with ease.
"Well then-" Kali set into a sprint, moving toward him as fast as she could.
"I got you now!" Kali roared as she leaped at him.
"Oh and do remember. I am not a fighter, but they are." The Virtuoso grinned as the ground bubbled in front of him and a mannequin arm came out of the floor. The sword on it swung at Kali. Kali barely stopped herself from coming into range of the blade.
"Wow." She took a few steps back.
"What. Weren't you gonna touch me?" The Virtuoso reached out his hand toward her as the ground began to bubble around him. Mannaquins' arms moved up from the ground.
"I thought you weren't a fighter!" Kali shouted.
"Oh, I am not. But again my art will always try to protect me." He grinned as he looked up. Vines started raining down from the roof, wriggling and reaching out for Kali.
"Every little part of me is art and every little art piece is part of me!" The Virtusoo grinned as the ground around him turned to mirrors and spider legs shot out the mirrors.
"And my art is VAST!" He threw his arms out and bathed himself in his own glory as porcelain soldiers rose from the ground around him.
"Now, suffer from my art. AS I SUFFERED FOR IT!" He laughed as the ground began to rumble and waves of arms shot up from the ground, all of them bladed hands. Kali jumped backward as the vines lashed down at her, trying to reach her. She pulled her arms to herself, barely dodging the incoming grabs. The walls next to her turned into mirrors as the spider legs shot at her. She dodged barely again and lastly, she stumbled back as a soldier neared her and finally hit her with the sword, sending her flying back. She crashed against the ground as her backpack flew off her and slid next to her body. A bloody streak going over the ground toward her. She looked at her backpack with weak eyes.
"Th-there you are," Kali said. As she reached for her back."Remember this, sis. Your power might be powerful, but you aren't accustomed to battle as much as the others. So let me give you a secret weapon!" A boy's voice echoed in Kali's mind.
"A secret weapon?" Kali was sitting in an old wooden rocky chair as a small boy came running with his brown hair wiggling in the wind and goggles on his forehead.
"Yes. Here." He held out a certain item.
"You already gave me this, remember? This is already a dear item to me, pipsqueak." She grinned as she showed her pendant. Kali reached out and patted the boy on the head.
"Yeah, I know. But imagine what powers you could draw from an item like this. This isn't like your tazer or your stun gun. This right here is creativity!" The boy held it out again.
"Fine, I will bring it with me." Kali took the item and placed it in her backpack.
"I know you will use it when the time is right." The boy said. He then looked down.
"Oh, what's wrong?" Kali came out of her chair, sitting herself down on one knee, patting the boy on top of the head.
"N-nothing. I'm just worried." The boy said somberly. Kali grinned warmly and hugged the boy.
"I promise I will always come back to you, Nicolai." She giggled, hugging him.
"You promise?" The boy asked.
"I promise." She confirmed.
"You super promise?" he asked.
"I super promise." She let out a laugh."I super...promise." Kali reached out for the item in the bag and slowly pulled it out.
"Reaching for empty hope now, ma fleur. That depressed and desperate attempt is truly and wholeheartedly also...BEAUTIFUL." The Virtuoso reached his hand forward as the warriors ran forward. Kali slowly sat herself up and held the camera up in front of her.
"planned..." Kali said as the camera began to glow. It was an old camera. Wooden pieces here and there but as he power flowed into it. The blue lines started moving over it and making it shine.
"1000 volt." She moved the camera up, aiming with it, using the lens.
"Snapshot." She said, pulling the trigger. The camera lens flared up and glowed as it shot out a cone beam of light. The light hit all the warriors and in the next moment, they erupted in lightning.
"Hm?" The Virtuoso looked at her as she slowly stood up, throwing away her backpack. She wrapped the sling around her neck and let the camera dangle in front of her.
"You abuse...people and their dreams." Kali took a step forward with a steadfast resolve.
"You pray on the weak and hopeless who wishes nothing but good on this world." She grits her teeth in annoyance.
"You find yourself above human nature and law." She looked at him with angry eyes.
"But you can never be forgiven for abusing your family!" Kali shouted as she moved the camera up and pulling her goggles over her eyes.
"5000 volt. Quickflare." She shouted as she snapped another picture, sending out a large beam of light like a flashbang.
"Vulgar!" The Virtuoso covered his eyes and as she looked up again. She was gone.
"You are a fool to think you can hide in my world. Not only do you leave a trail, but you are easily caught when-" He moved a hand into the air.
"GAH!" A giant vine shot out from the ground, piercing Kali and sending her flying into the air.
"I AM THIS WORLD!" The Virtuoso laughed.
"You might be this world, but then I just have to break it apart!" She grabbed her camera and aimed it directly down at him.
"10000 volt. SHUTTER!" She snapped a picture as it send out a shockwave. The Virtuoso merely glanced at it as the world warped. The marble walls and pillars around him moved up in front of him, taking the blunt force of the hit. His large ponytail swayed into the air, dangling behind him.
"Brute force, really? You thought brute force would be the way to go to reach me?" He slowly walked forward as he raised his hands. Dolls flew out of the ground, flying toward Kali as they opened up turning into swords and blades.
"10000 volt. Freeze frame" She snapped a picture as the dolls seemingly got stuck in place. She crashed against the ground after freeing himself from the vine. She would slowly get up as her wounds would drip blood all around her.
"No matter how powerful you are, ma fleur. You will not be able to beat my art." He grinned.
"FUCK-" She slammed her hand to her side wound.
"YOUR ART!" She splattered blood on the wall where he had painted. His eyebrow would twitch as he walked toward it in a flash.
