"The more you hurt?" The Missing Link stood up from the rubble of dirt and debris still lingering in the prison.
"The sssstronger you become?" The Missing Link grinned widely. The Diver was walking toward him. Plates of metal landed on the ground around him as he walked.
"Pressure-" He clenched his fist as a sphere of darkness erupted from his hand.
"CHANGER!" He roared as he punched the air. Black cracks appeared in reality itself and a moment later a powerful force pushed through the terrain, slamming the debris apart. The Missing Link grinned as his hoofs began to bubble and spikes shot into the ground. He moved a hand forward as it turned into scaly claws. The pressure hit the claw and broke the scales apart, but The Missing Link didn't move a meter.
"Weak." The Missing Link grinned wildly. He quickly spread out his wings and shot forward as the spikes coming from his legs detached from his body. He flew forward and spun around as his wings enveloped his being.
"Misssssssing genetic-" He turned into a bubbly mess as he expanded.
"What?" The Diver in confusion took a step back as a giant talon flew down and grabbed him.
"ROK!" The Missing Link had transformed once again. Into a giant eagle with scales moving all over its body, two peaks, and horns. Feathers covered in small spikes. It was the size of a small building as it picked up The Diver. He flew into the air with great power before he spun around and threw The Diver into the ground again. The Diver bounced off the ground. The giant bird spread its wings before bashing them twice.
"Rok, barrage!" It screamed as it bashed its wings, sending out an army of feathers down toward the ground. The Diver moved up as more of the suit slowly crumbled around him. He moved a hand up.
"Pressure zero!" He shouted as a sphere erupted around him, defending him from the incoming barrage of feathers, but at the same time, you could hear creaking from the armor, trying its best to push back the pressure. The feathers broke apart as The Diver quickly grasped his hand again, making the sphere disappear before he pushed his hand forward, sending the sphere shooting like a giant black orb of destruction. The Bird quickly flew past it, dodging the incoming attack.
"EXPAND!" The Diver shouted as the orb expanded into a large sphere, grabbing the bird. He grasped the air once again as the orb now focused on the bird, capturing it in the bubble. He began to slowly curl his hands together as the pressure began to bombard the bird.
"You might be...able to fly." The Diver said as he stomped the ground with one leg, making more of the metal fall off his body.
"But I will capture you, not even you can escape the pressure of the deep." He slammed his hand toward the ground as the sphere flew downward into the island, making the bird land.
"I am ancient. I am unlimited. I can not be killed nor can I be stopped. You might be evolving but I am at a standstill in time. unmoving and unending. Like the pressure of the below. I have fought this pressure all my life and now you will face it." The Diver said as he moved his hand further down, making the sphere bore down into the ground through the island.
"You might be a monster in the sea but I am the sea." The Diver said as he stomped his way forward, going toward the hole.
"I will return you to the sea, you monster!" He jumped into the hole and the two of them flew through the crust until they landed in the water below. He fully closed his hand now as a crushing crack could be heard echoing over the island. Blood started to leak out of the sphere. The Diver slowly lowered his hand as he took a deep breath. The suit was holed and destroyed but somehow the water stayed out of it. Seemingly his pressure magic was at work. The bloody pool began to shift and morph as it turned back into the slim and refined Missing Link. He was drifting in the water, motionless.
"You can crack me..." His skin began to bubble as it repaired itself.
"You can burn me, crussssh me, hang me, drown me." He slowly moved his upper body straight up again as he looked at The Diver with a carefree smile. His body began to morph and bubble as fines shot out his back and a tail shot out of his lower body becoming a finned sharp-like tail.
"I am ever-changing. No matter where we fight, I will alwayssss be in perfect condition!" The Missing Link grinned and bashed his tail as he swam forward with incredible speed.
"Sssshark feasssst!" He opened his mouth as his teeth turned longer and sharp. He spun around, becoming an underwater tornado of blades. The Diver quickly swam to the side, dodging the incoming attack.
"You can't essscape!" The voice called out as it turned a perfect ninety degrees in the water and suddenly found itself right in front of the Diver, digging its teeth into the armor plates. Powerful light erupted and bubbles shot out from the metal piece as the friction generated heat.
"HALT!" The Diver roared as he grabbed the monster by the head. The spinning was still in process, making the glove shoot out with light and bubbles too.
"Pressure!" He roared as black light erupted from his hand, trying to apply pressure on to the head of the monster.
"RAH!" A roar echoed from The Missing Link as he bit through the metal plate and cut into the Diver's body. Green blood leaked out of the armor as the Missing Link swam past him, spitting out green flesh and metal.
"Disssgusssting." The Missing Link growled under his breath. The Diver roared in pain and clutched his stomach.
"Been a while, hassssn't it?" The Missing Link said. The Diver looked at its hand as green blood was covering his hand.
"Ssssince ya lasssst got hurt?" The Missing Link grinned as green blood covered his fangs. They had grown back to the small vampire-like teeth again.
"Ya have been hiding behind that sssset of armor for a while now. You can't hide anymore." The Missing Link began to swim circles around The Diver, like a vulture on its prey.
"Silence." The Diver would lower his hand and go to grab the harpoon stuck in his arm. He would roar as he pulled it out.
"Ya gonna try to hit me with that little sssspear again?" The Missing Link grinned from ear to ear.
"Sometimes you need something stronger to kill a monster like you." He would twist his hand, letting the spear dangle in the air next to him. He would remove his armoed glove revealing a rotten, green, and almost bony hand. He would grab the spear with it and point it at The Missing Link.
"issss that sssupposssse to frighten me?" The Missing Link grinned as he moved a hand forward, stretching out his claws.
"A bony almosssst broken hand." The Missing Link grinned.
"The armor I wear-" He clenched his fist around the spear as black lightning erupted all around them, sparking and pushing the water.
"Huh?" The Missing Link looked around.
"Is a restrainer on my pressure ability. I am about to show you, the full might of my pressure." He slowly lifted his spear above his head as the darkness covered it completely and white lines start to statically spark from it.
"Pressure from below-" He slowly moved it up to throw it like a spear.
"Hiss!" The Missing Link quickly shot through the water trying to reach him.
"WHALE HUNTER!" He tossed the harpoon with such force that the ocean parted for a moment. The spear shot through the water and instantly hit The Missing Link.
"GAH!" He let out a cough of blood as he was shot through the water.
"Your bones might break and repair. Your skin might realign. Your lungs might repair. Your body might regenerate. But then I will just have to break it over and over again." The Diver pointed his hand down as the spear shot downward, dragging The Missing Link down into the depths.
"I will just have to keep hurting you again and again until ya body realize ya only evolutionary goal is to die!" He shot down into the depth below, swimming after the harpoon. The Missing Link grabbed the spear with one hand and tried to pull it out.
"F-AH!" It screamed out in pain as the pressure around him rose too. The deeper he got down. They passed a bright purple light in the ocean and continued even deeper and deeper.
"I am taking you down where no monster has ever seen. Down in the lurkey depths." The Diver said as the missing Link was impaled to the sea bottom. A few angler fish swam away from them as they land. The sun didn't reach this far down. There was complete darkness as the Diver landed on the ground. His pure cyclopean eye staring at The Missing Link.
"Neptunian pressure!" The Diver shouted as the harpoon erupted in bright darkness with white static in it. The Missing Link roared in pain as he was broken apart from the inside.
"The more you hurt me-" He stomped a step forward as he moved a hand forward.
"The more I hurt you...The stronger I become...The more you will feel the pressure of the depths."
"Will...You-" the Missing Link grabbed the spear and roared in pain as spikes shot out of its body from all sides.
"SSSSSHUT UP!" It roared as it pulled out the spear, breaking it apart. It stomped the ground, turning itself upward again. Its skin began to bubble and turn very hard with thick layered skin to resist the cold and depth of the water they were in.
"You...You are really sssstarting to pisssss me off." The Missing Link said with a growl under his breath. He looked up as both his eyes were sharp and red.
"Break me until my body thinksssss my only sssssolution isssss death. Oh hooooo. Ya think ya can do that, huh?" The Missing Link roared as his arm began to bubble, sharp blades erupted from his arm.
"I'm about to show you that nothing can sssstop me." The Missing Link said as he looked up.
"Genetic code-" The Missing Link said as his skin began to bubble.
"Apex predator." he said as he vanished. The Diver looked around frantically as he saw bubbles move in the water.
"What is this speed?" The Diver said as he looked around.
"It is the perfect ssssspeed." A voice said behind him before he felt a sharp pain. He had been impaled from behind by a long sharp spike.
"Gah." The Diver roared out a painful grunt as blood leaked from his wound. He had been pierced right through the already premade hole.
"Where is ya bravado now?" The Missing Link grinned as he pushed The Diver off his blade. Making the golem fall to the ground.
"Now...let ussss finissssh thissss" The Missing Link said as he shot up into the water. The humanoid silhouette turned and twisted into something gigantic.
"Apex ssssea predator!" A voice roared. All he could see was giant glowing eyes the size of his own body as the monster approached with rapid speed. Sharp fangs coming into view from the red glow of his helmet.
"I will kill ya in your own depthssss. You can never ssssurpassssss my perfection!" He roared as the looming figure approached The Diver.
"Prefection..." The Diver said in a low voice, reaching out a hand.
