(This is still the same day from when Jeongin tutored Hyunjin)

Jeongin rushed out of the library, his heart was beating out of his chest. He didn't really understand why. Sure, Hyunjin was attractive and handsome, but what made Jeongin a bit shocked was that Hyunjin was really a nice and genuine guy. Hyunjin is pretty popular in his school due to the fact that Hyunjin is the captain of the basketball team, replacing Bang Chan who already graduated, and Hyunjin was also pretty well known for his attractive features.

Jeongin always thought that Hyunjin, or basically anybody of the quite popular kids, would be rude and snotty. But what completely threw Jeongin off is that Hyunjin was the complete opposite of what he thought. Hyunjin looked shy, almost nervous.

"Maybe it's because Mrs Hwa already told him about the kicked out from the basket team?" Jeongin explained to his bestfriends, Felix and Seungmin. Jeongin is sitting comfortably on his bed right now, facetiming Felix and Seungmin (Jisung is on a date with Minho, so he sadly couldn't join).

"Nah, I think it's because you have watched too many movies of popular kids being bullies or mean et cetera, et cetera." Seungmin chuckled from his phone.

"Does our Innie have a crush?"

Felix's sudden question completely threw Jeongin off guard, making the youngest choke on air. "What? No! I literally just met the guy. There's no such thing as love at first sight anyways." Seungmin laughed, "Innie, that's literally what Jisung said about Minho a few months ago when he bumped into Minho at the grocery store. And look at them now, on a date, where he can't listen to Innie talking about his little crush."

"Hyuung, stop it, I literally don't like him that way." Jeongin whined at his hyungs' teasing.

"Or maybe he likes you." Felix suggested. Jeongin shifted his position so he could be more comfortable and said, "What makes you think that?". "Innie, you literally said that he called you cute, and asked for your number-"

"But maybe he was calling me cute because he didn't want to feel awkward with me or anything, ease the tension maybe. And as for my number, it's so I can tutor him, duh." Jeongin rolled his eyes through the screen.

Felix shrugged, "Maybe, but Binnie likes to tell me stories about his friends and from what I heard, Hyunjin is kinda carefree and nonchalant, which means he doesn't care about starting convos or making new friends. Maybe he's genuinely intrested in you."

"Yeah, of course, he has to. Our Innie is too precious for the world." Seungmin cooed. "Also guys, I gotta go, Channie hyung is taking me out today." Seungmin said with a blush on his face.

"Wow, your still dating Chan hyung, Seungmin?" Jeongin asked, a bit surprised since Seungmin never really said much about his love life, not even to his best friends, so he was surprised that Seungmin was still dating Bang Chan, the basketball captain before Hyunjin and an alumni in their school,

"Of course they are, they're too in love to break up." Felix said in a sing-song voice.

"Yeah, yeah, fine whatever, I don't care, I gotta go, see you guys tomorrow!".

"Okay, I'll leave the call too."

"Sure Innie, bye y'all."

As the call ended, Jeongin couldn't help but smile at the thought of the Hwang Hyunjin liking him.

Jeongin sighed.

There's no way he had a crush on Hyunjin, they just met, things like that takes time.
