Chapter Eleven: Tsuzumi Mansion

Tanjiro closed his eyes as he let out a huge sigh and did a face-palm.

'Do you know that guy?' asked Nezuko

'Oh....he was one of slayers that i helped back in final selection ' Tanjiro answered his sisters question. A little sparrow who was the yellow clad slayer's guide bird flew up to Tanjiro and informed him on out was happening. Tanjiro stomped over and pulled the screaming cowered off the young girl.

'Leave the girl alone' said Tanjiro in a cold and stoic tone. The yellow clad demon slayer had recognized Tanjiro as the slayer who saved his life back in final selection. Tanjiro loudly claimed that he will never forget who the yellow clad slayer is. He was the slayer that was screaming and crying begging for Tanjiro to stay with him and protect him. Tanjiro did not let go of the blond boy, who didn't like that, he tried desperately to break free but he couldn't....Tanjiro was to strong and powerful, he then started pleading with Tanjiro begging him to let him go claiming that the girl is in love with him, wich she completely rebuked. She revealed that all she did was check on him as he was ill-looking on the side of the road and that she clearly doesn't love the yellow clad slayer for she already has a fiancé.

'Have you no shame?! Harassing an engaged woman!' said Tanjiro in an angry yet calm voice while giving the blond teenager his most angry and disappointed expression, that was an intimidation tactic that he learned from his father and it worked!. The blond boy immediately apologized to the girl. Then he claimed that he was going to die soon and begged Tanjiro to protect him until he gets married, but instead Tanjiro introduced himself and the demon slayer stated that his name is Zenitsu Agatsuma.

Tanjiro questioned Zenitsu why he became a swordsman in the first place. Zenitsu explained that he was deceived out of all his money by a girl leaving him in massive dept, Zenitsu love that girl but sadly his love was unrequited she had robbed all his money so she can run away with an other boy whom she actually loved. Zenitsu was saved from his dept by an old man who turned out to be a former Hashira. After hellish training, en experience that he claimed was so horrific that he willingly entered final selection just so he can die and escape and despite surviving Zenitsu stated that he still continues to experience hell every day since and showed his great fear of dying at the hands of a demon to a shocked Tanjiro and Nezuko.

After calming down. Tanjiro, Nezuko and Zenitsu travel to their next mission.

'I'm sorry for being harsh on you back there but the way you treated that girl was terrible and unacceptable, i had to stop you ' Tanjiro sincerely apologized....the boy hated being harsh on others but there were times where it was necessary. Zenitsu accepted his apology and forgave him, he then said that he was hungry so Tanjiro gave him an onigiri. Zenitsu took a bite and then asked Tanjiro and Nezuko if they were hungry as well. Luckily Nezuko had packed plenty of food and water for the both of them so Nezuko shared her food with Tanjiro. While they were walking. Tanjiro explained that while he understood and respected Zenitsu'd fear of demons, he can't let it trouble his sparrow. Zenitsu wondered how did Tanjiro know. Tanjiro said that his sparrow mentioned that Zenitsu whines during each mission, pathetically trying to beckon the attention of girls and snores loudly. Zenitsu was stunned to learn that Tanjiro understood his sparrow but he was Interrupted by Tanjiro and Nezuko's Kasugai Crows instructing them to run causing Zenitsu to freak out at the sight of talking birds.
