Chapter three: Sakonji Urokodaki

After Tanjiro and Nezuko buried their family. The brother and sister had set off to MT.SGIRI. On the way they stopped by a temple. The siblings wanted to ask for directions. They opened the temple door and they were horrified when they saw a demon with ash-gry skin and green hair feasting on a human corps!. The demon was killing the travelers that were seeking refuge at the temple. Tanjiro unsheathed his Kyokokukamusari (hallow cry of the godless), 'A Nichirin sword....boy are you a demon slayer?!...ah what ever you're not going to live much longer anyway you two brats are gonna be my next meal!' the demon declared. Tanjiro fulled with righteous anger did not hesitate to decapitate the demon using the first form of MoonBreathing(dark moon evening palace) with one crescent strike it was all over for the demon....he died so fast he couldn't even comprehend that he was decapitated....this was an act of mercy and kindness from Tanjiro. While Tanjiro has never faced a demon before he was able to determine the demon's weak spot thanks to the transparent world ability. Tanjiro was born with this ability because of his mark....his father Michikatsu also had this ability  and he was teaching Tanjiro how to use and control it unfortunately Tanjiro wasn't as good at using the transparent world as his father Michikatsu and his uncle Yoriichi yet, father and uncle were able to predict their opponents moves just by seeing  the signels  to their  brain and watching how their mussels and internal organs moved and father could even tell of certain people were related just by analyzing their facial and body structures, the boy hoped that he will be as good and strong as his father and uncle someday. As the demon was dying and turning to ash Tanjiro did a chiburui a move in wich a swordsman filcks the blood of his defeated enemy off his sword to teast and make sure that their sword wasn't damaged. Tanjiro then wiped the remaining blood off the katana with a simple cloth. Tanjiro then bowed to his desintegrataing opponent and prayed for him because even though he was a demon he was still a life that was lost. Tanjiro and Nezuko then buried the remains of the victims...once they finished the burial and prying for the victims the Tsugikuni siblings were approached by an elderly man with a blue haori with white cloud patterns and covering his face with a red tengu mask, ' I see you've already taken care of that demon good job ' the old man said, 'Are you Sakonji Urokodaki?' asked Tanjiro the old man answered yes and Sakonji then asked if they were Tanjiro and Nezuko Tsugikuni wich yes that is who they were and then they went with Urokodaki.

Once they arrived at MT.Sgiri. Urokodaki gave Tanjiro and Nezuko a test to see if they were worth teaching. On the surface it seemed easy and simple just follow Sakonji to his house but in reality it was a difficult teast and many potential students have failed. Urokodaki began the teast he started climbing the mountain to his house and Tanjiro and Nezuko soon followed right behind him. Tanjiro had memorized Sakonji's scent so he and his little sister didn't get lost, the air on MT.SGIRI was thinner then on MT.KUMOTORI were they grew-up but useing total concentration breathing Tanjiro had no problem climbing the mountain. Nezuko also didn't have any problems either she didn't know why but she had become stronger they also encountered some traps along the way but they were able to dodge them thanks to their superior senses, 'You are both astonishing in your own right ' praised Sakonji the two children had past his teast with flying colors they were able to climb the mountain despite the thin air and they didn't fall into any of his trapps or get lost, at dinner that night Urokodaki explained what demons were, that they were once human but they became inflected with a curse that transformed them into blood thirsty cannibalistic monsters that hunt humans at night and that it was the demon slayer corps duty to protect humanity from these monsters, he also explained that no one knows the origin of demons and how they came to be and that there's only one demon on earth with the ability to turn people into demons and that his name is Muzan Kibutsuji. This reminded the siblings of the stories that their grandfather used to tell them about demons, after supper everyone went to sleep they needed to rest because their training with Urokodaki starts tomorrow. Having been trained since birth by his father who is a legendary swordsman and a genius among geniuses interms of sword fighting and breathing styles and Tanjiro being a rare sword fighting  prodigy himself he had no problem grasping the concepts that Urokodaki was teaching them since his father had already teached it to him. Tanjiro had also written notes that would help teach these concepts to new recruits and requested that Sakonji share these notes with the other sensi these notes will make it easier for new recruits to understand the concepts that they are learning helping them be better prepared for the feild and strengthen and increase the ranks of the demon slayer corp, as for Nezuko the girl struggled a bit with the learning but fortunately with some help from Tanjiro and Urokodaki she was able to complete the training, she was able to learn water breathing and she realized that she had an ability called Blood demon art, this was very strange to everyone because only demons were supposed to have these abilities...Nezuko discovered that her blood demon art wich she named (Explosive blood) was not only useful for combat it could also heal the sick and injured, she discovered this when she helped an injured wolf that was caught in a trap. The poor animal had its foot clamped between two metal jaws the poor creature was in soo much pain and suffering, it was screaming and crying and biting its front paw that was stuck inside the trap desperately trying to escape. Nezuko had set the poor creature free and then she instinctively used her power to set the canine on fire. Nezuko was horrified she thought that she had burned the animal to death!!! but much to her relief the wolf was fine and it's wounds where healed, the wolf took one last look at Nezuko as if too say thank you and then it returned to it's forest home. Nezuko made sure to destroy the trap, people who design and use these kinds of traps are sick there is no better word to describe them.

Now that Urokodaki had teached the siblings everything that he knows it was time for the final test to see if they were ready to go to final selection. They must cut through a massive rock and Tanjiro got the biggest rock of them all. Now Tanjiro could of instantly cut the rock but he wanted to help his sister. Nezuko was struggling, she went back to the basics and went through everything that Urokodaki teached her but she still couldn't cut the bolder, then one day after training with Tanjiro, Nezuko saw two other children setting on top of the rock, they were around her and Tanjiro's age there was a boy with pink hair wearing a fox mask with a scar on the cheek and a girl with black hair and blue eyes with a fox mask that had flowers on it, the boy challenged Nezuko to a sparring match and he easily defeated her he was not impressed with her at all the girl then came to help her, the boy told her that his name is Sabito and the girl told her that her name is Mokomo. Sabito and Mokomo weren't brother and sister they were orphans that Urokodaki took in, for six months Nezuko trained with Sabito and Mokomo they helped her correct her mistakes and bad habits. Tanjiro was impressed by her progress...'Who are you talking to?' asked Tanjiro one day after Nezuko finished training with Sabito and Mokomo, 'Ah...i'm just talking to my self ' said Nezuko. Tanjiro accepted her answer and the two siblings trained together like they do every day, after they finished practicing and sparring Tanjiro went to practice his MoonBreathing and Hinokami Kagura. Tanjiro had completed his training for the day and went to rest when all of a sudden Tanjiro saw three people approaching him, the first was a woman who looked like his sister Nezuko the second was a man who looked like Tanjiro he had purple eyes just like his father Michikatsu and his hair was medium length and tied in a high ponie tail, the last was a girl who didn't look like anyone Tanjiro knew oddly these people didn't have any scent coming from them...how did these people get here! thought Tanjiro, 'Ah....gra..grandma Akeno is that you!!!' Tanjiro said astonished he recognized his paternal grandmother from the stories that his father told him, she matched the physical description that his father gave from his stories but grandma Tsugikuni died when dad and uncle Yoriichi were only seven or ten years old how is he seeing ded people and who were the two other people with her?!...'Tanjiro! your father is still alive please....Save him...i...i shudder to think what that devil Kibutsuji is doing to my son!' Akeno said the poor woman was crying. Tanjiro huged his grandmother and held her as she sobbed...'Grandmother i promise that i will do everything in my power to save my father please don't cry!' said Tanjiro the kid started to cry as well, once they calmed down and stopped crying the young man and the girl got colse to Tanjiro 'Who are you?' Tanjiro asked if they were here then they must be important, 'I see so he so hasn't told you about us...our names are Masamune and Ryūka Tsugikuni...we are your half siblings!' said the man, this shocked Tanjiro to his core he always thought that he knew all his siblings and thought that he was his father's first child...why didn't he tell him that he had an older half brother and an older half sister...why did he withhold such important information..
this also means...that his father had a family before in the past...what happened to them! how did they die?!....all these thoughts went through Tanjiro's head...he was so overwhelmed with this knowledge that he couldn't speak, the man and girl looked at Tanjiro with cold hatred in their eyes...they envyed Tanjiro and his siblings...and had a deep hatred and resentment for them...hundreds of years after he abandoned them and their mother...the man had found another woman and had started a new family with her whom he truly loved!!!....why...why didn't father love them as much as he loved  Tanjiro and his siblings why did he heartlessly abandon them and their mother but stayed for their younger half-siblings and that woman Hinata.....the old man didn't even  mention them, has father been alive  for so long that he had forgotten about them?Masamune thought. The man was outraged that his father had forgotten about his first family and replaced him and his mother and sister like they were nothing, ' You might share the same father and blood as me but you will never be my brother!' said Masamune in a cold and bitter tone before he, Ryūka and grandma Akeno disappeared...Tanjiro was upset at the way his elder half siblings treated him, he couldn't  smell it but he can tell just how  deeply his elder half-siblings envy   him and he can't understand why....Tanjiro then heard Nezuko approaching with their lunch, the teenager smiled he had cheered up now that his little sister is here...Tanjiro and Nezuko will save their father and avenge their family they will end and destroy Muzan Kibutsuji.
