Both Taylor and Travis had been in their happy bubble together after Travis and found out that they were going to have another baby together. But that joy and happiness had washed away almost instantly for just about thirty minutes after telling Travis about the pregnancy, Taylor found herself crouched back over the toilet bowl at the thought of cooking dinner. And it hadn't gotten any better over the past few days. If anything it had gotten worse and it was if Luna knew it, because she was having none of her usual daddy's special princess treatment. It was as if she knew that Taylor wouldn't be able to do anything with her because for those past four days Taylor, and only Taylor, would do.

"Mamaaaaa." She could hear Luna's cries from the nursery but it was as if her legs didn't even allow her to move from the spot she was in. It was as if she was frozen. But Luna's cries were not subsiding and she could be pretty relentless when she wanted to be. Taylor hit her head with the pillow that had previously been cushioning her head, knowing that the second she would stand up, the dizziness and the nausea would kick in and she would be straight back in that bathroom like she always was. At least now she could do it without having to hide it all from Travis.

"Trav?" Taylor moaned, elbowing Travis in the ribs to get his attention. Even though Luna's cries were extremely loud when she wanted them to be, Travis could sleep through pretty much anything. He had slept through the most recent tornado that had run through Kansas City, despite it waking up every other member of their household and neighbourhood pretty much. Luckily though, her plan had worked and she could feel his body moving underneath the covers.

"What Tay? She isn't awake again is she?" Travis asked, rubbing a hand across his face to wake himself up more.

"Yep she is. And I was up with her last night cause I was already up hungry anyway. But I think if I move from this bed any time soon, there will be vomit everywhere and it will not be very pretty."

"Ok ok, I think I get the picture. Don't worry, I will go and make sure that she is ok." Travis sighed, pulling back the covers on his side, pressing a kiss on Taylors forehead before slipping on some slippers and making his way down the hallway to Luna's nursery. In there he found her sitting up in her crib, blonde curls sticking up in all sorts of different directions and drool all over her pyjamas. She was obviously heading back into another wave of teething which their doctor had said was likely to happen some time between her first birthday and the summer months. But it just couldn't have been any worse timing. They were meant to be taking Luna with them to Taylor's doctors appointment that day but Travis was unsure at that moment whether that was a good idea. He wouldn't be fully able to focus on Taylor and what the doctor would be finally telling them about their baby as he would also have a cranky teething toddler on his hip. His mother was currently away on a holiday with friends in the Bahamas and the rest of his family was up on the east coast in Philadelphia. For Travis, that was the one thing he did not like particularly about living in the midwest: the fact that he was so far away from any of his family. Even Taylor's mom, who didn't live awfully far was still a couple of hours away by plane and couldn't just come to their aid at the drop of a hat.

That day was a Monday and meant that Travis had the day off from any work commitments. He would usually film the podcast on a Tuesday with Jason and had some kind of training camps on other days of the week. Mondays were time for him and Taylor to do something fun together as a family either just the two of them or with Luna as well. They had a nanny for when the pair of them were both working and Travis knew that when the new baby came, that they would need to increase her hours. Not that they couldn't afford it or anything, it was just that he would have proffered if he was able to stay at home and look after his children himself or with Taylor. But neither of them were ready to give up their careers, not just yet. And Travis had never expected Taylor to give up music and become a housewife and stay at home mother, no matter how much certain members of his team had tried persuade him it was for the best.
