Kansas City, Missouri

The sun was shining, the birds were chirping and Taylor was in a good mood. There were many reasons as to why but the main reason was because that day was her gender reveal party for the twins. They had been to their sixteen week ultrasound appointment a couple of days before where they could see the twins growing and developing well. Both were on track with their development and were strangely measuring pretty much the exact same weight as each other which was quite rare for twins but quite a relief. Having twins had really thrown them both off of centre at first, not sure if they could really cope with going from having just one kid to suddenly having three but they had soon come round to the idea and were talking it in their stride.

Also taking it in their stride was Brittany who was busy planning a huge gender reveal party for Taylor. Originally they had wanted to host it at the local country club so that it was easier on everyone and they could make more of a party out of it but that was soon quashed by the idea of the media and paparazzi who were even present in Kansas City sadly. Both Taylor and Travis had agreed they would be keeping the genders and the fact that they were even having twins away from the media until after they were born. They wouldn't be able to hide it for long after they were born but whilst they ere still tucked up safe, cozy and warm in Taylor's uterus, they were going to keep them as hidden and private as possible. They were going to try their best to be treated as every other normal person should be and would want to be.

The party was being held at their house in Kansas City this time and Brittany had already been round to their house the day before with all of the decorations and things they would need for the party apart from the boxes that had the coloured balloons in them which would eventually show what genders the twins would be. Taylor had her bets on there being boy in the mix, whether there was only one of them or two whilst Travis was sticking true to his word from day one that him and Jason could only produce girl babies and that they would be having two more little girls. But both of them had known from the very start that they didn't mind either way what the sex of the babies were. It was truly a miracle that they were able to have another baby, let along conceive twins naturally and spontaneously.

Taylor could feel Travis' arm still wrapped around her body, his hand planted and stuck in its usual place on her lower stomach, feeling the ever growing bulging bump in his soft palm. It was a feeling that she would never grow tired of feeling. It gave her butterflies in her stomach and Taylor longed for the day that Travis would be able to feel the babies kicking and maybe even let Luna feel too.

Oh little Luna: she didn't quite know what was going on. She seemed to be happy enough but both Taylor and Travis were unsure whether that was actual happiness or just plain ignorance. She was only sixteen months old. Barely even a year and a half old yet and so she was hardly going to fully understand the concept of having two new younger siblings. But they were soaking up their time with Luna as their only child and focussing on showing her how much she would love the new babies that would be soon joining their family.

Taylor could feel Travis stirring from beside her, his grip on her stomach now active and strong as he began to wake up properly. She felt breath tickle against her neck as Travis leaned in to give her a kiss on her neck, working his way down her shoulder and arm until she was too ticklish to take it anymore.

"Well someone is in a good mood this morning." Taylor giggled, slowly pushing herself over so that she was directly facing Travis once again.

"Well why wouldn't I be. Today is a big day for us." Travis smiled, kissing Taylor on the lips which he hadn't been able to do during the first trimester or for the first couple of weeks of her second trimester due to Taylor's sickness. Her morning sickness was still around and would creep up on her at the worst points in time such as at the beach when they had been vacationing in Greece and Taylor had ended up being sick in a hole Travis made in the sand behind a big rocky cove. Not one of her proudest and most flattering moments.
