"You're so pretty in the morning" San hummed into the silence of the bedroom, fingers gently tracing over the surface of Wooyoung's soft lips. The smaller snapped his jaws jokingly, nipping at San's fingertips with his sharp teeth as his eyes glittered mischievously.

It was early morning and there was still an air of slow tranquillity about the house, making it easy to play around with Wooyoung like this.

Something about morning always mellowed the smaller, allowed him to be vulnerable with San in a way he'd never be anywhere else. At school he'd shove San away with his sharp elbows when the taller tried to come near. Whereas within the four walls of San's room and the promise of early morning, he'd preen under San's attention, smiling and fluttering his eyelashes and allowing San to shower him with as many compliments as he wanted.

"I was being nice to you!" San complained, although his grin betrayed him "Why are you biting me?"

"You don't look that mad about it" Wooyoung raised an eyebrow. There was a moment of stillness before San pounced towards the smaller.

"San, no!" Wooyoung squealed, dodging under the covers and scrambling away with urgency "Get away from me!"

Wooyoung was obviously no match for San's speed or agility and was eventually captured and wrapped up in the tallers strong arms. San lifted Wooyoung, throwing him in the air and catching him until the smaller complained he was going to faint with the dizziness.

"I hate you" Wooyoung laughed breathlessly, laying spread eagle on San's lap as the taller gently caressed his face, tucking away the oreo strands of hair. He counted the moles dotted across Wooyoung's skin, lost count because his heart was beating so fast, started again and repeated the cycle until the smaller's was complaining that he was staring.

"Shhh, let me admire you" San grumbled, voice still slightly raspy with fatigue. His own hair was sticking up in every direction and was wearing his shirt but he couldn't find it in his heart to care too much.

He found it hard to care about much else when he had Wooyoung like this.

The hours passed by, filled with nonsensical bickering and slow, soft kisses until Wooyoung was getting up, wriggling out of San's grip and rolling out of bed.

He tugged at the hem of his t-shirt until he was wearing nothing but a mischievous smile and San's heart was hammering against his ribs.

He watched as Wooyoung got dressed into the clothes he'd turned up in last night, moving around San's room as if it was his own. San didn't expect any less, the world was practically made to be Wooyoung's playground and San's room was no exception.

Wooyoung pulled on his shoes, nothing but a look in San's direction necessary for the taller to bolt out of bed and over to the smaller's side.

Wooyoung hummed in approval, smiling a little as he softly carded his fingers through San's hair and watched the taller tie his laces.

"Will you come back tonight?" San asked, standing up. He hated how desperate he sounded but again couldn't find it in himself to care too much.

"Maybe" Wooyoung replied dismissively, reaching up on his tippy toes to press his lips against San's.

As Wooyoung pulled away, San was in too much of a daze to realise that the smaller had taken the wallet out of his back pocket and was now sifting through it, pulling out a couple of notes.

"What?!" Wooyoung raised an eyebrow "I need it for the bus, you don't expect me to walk do you?"

"Just go" San grunted, ushering the smaller out and taking his wallet back.

"I'll see you later" Wooyoung smiled against San's lips when they kissed goodbye in the hallway.

"Bye" San waved a little clunkily, his movements feeling weird and weighted down by the heavy feeling in his chest. Just before Wooyoung turned the street corner and out of sight, the smaller grinned cheekily and blew San a kiss.

The feeling in San's heart multiplied and his chest felt so tight he feared he would go into cardiac arrest. But then the feeling was layered with another, his heartbeat quickening as panic overtook his thoughts.

He couldn't be in love with Wooyoung, could he?

"What the actual fuck is going on?" Jongho, who had been watching for a while, finally spoke.

San jumped about three feet in the air like a surprised cat, clutching his chest in shock.

"Don't creep up on me like that dude what the fuck!" he complained breathlessly, turning to face his brother.

"Don't "what the fuck" me! Did you just fucking kiss Wooyoung?!"

Well.
