"So, what exactly are you looking for in your employees". Hameeda asked as they sat in her office ready to interview the few people that had applied for positions.

"Uh, for the kitchen workers I want people who aren't over experienced". Rahma replied and hameeda looked at her weirdly.

"Well, not that they should be completely inexperienced, like someone who went to culinary school but didn't get a job or someone who didn't go to culinary school but is good at baking and stuff and doesn't have a long list of job experiences". Rahma clarified and hameeda shook her head.

"You do know that this business is a baby right, so you need experienced people to make it grow quickly". Rahma smiled at her sister.

"Ya hameeda, even some babies are the first for inexperienced mothers, like you and look you're very healthy. I don't think it will be a problem ya hameeda, besides we are going to try their skills". Hameeda looked at her sister for some seconds before she nodded.

"I just want to help young people. Can we start now". She added.

"Yes, I am ready". Hameeda replied a little bit excitedly. She could have done the interview alone but she didn't exactly have the fierceness or brutality hameeda has, so she invited her to create the balance.

Halima was writing exams so she couldn't make it for the interview.

Rahma stood up and went out front where the applicants were seated or standing, some looked very nervous and to make them comfortable she smiled politely, greeted them and told them to please come in one after the other in an orderly manner. She didn't bother to tell them how because it was part of the interview.

She went back to her seat beside her sister and a minute later, a young girl was walking in. She sat before the two sisters, trying her best to ignore the unwelcoming one.

When they were done conversing and questioning her, they told her she would receive an email soon. And so they did with the others. By the time they were done, they were both very tired and Rahma was planning on how she'd massage her aching jaw later.

"I'll come home tomorrow so we can do the screening and evaluation". Hameeda suggested and Rahma agreed.

They entered their cars and went their separate ways. As Rahma drove back home, her phone rang and she looked over at it from where it lay on the passenger seat. Dawud. Why was he calling her? She picked the call nevertheless.

"Hello? Good evening". She greeted them put the phone on speaker and placed it on her lap.

"How are you?".

"I'm good Alhamdulillah".

"Where are you?". He asked and again she wondered why he was asking.

"I'm going back home".

"Are you driving?". He asked but before she could reply he spoke again. "I'll call you later then".

"Uh, okay".

"Drive safely". He waited a few seconds and when she hummed, he hung up.

She wondered if he called to greet her but since he said he was going to call back, she believed he had something to say. Was he going to call out? She shook her head as if to push away the thoughts. She knew that she definitely didn't want to marry some stranger instead of Dawud, even though she wasn't completely sure how he'd turn out.

The moment she opened her room door, her phone started ringing again. She picked the call and placed it to her ear.

"Are you home now?". His deep voice filled her ears.
