'Always and forever'
~michaelson family.

Rahma had wanted the matter to stay between, she, Dawud, sudais and rukayya, but they had to let her parents know and they did. They were all furious and even her mother who was usually calm, insisted on dealing with him.

She felt like she was reliving a moment from years back again. Though, she knew just like last time that sudais would stand for her and he never lost a case, at least not one as easy as this. Even with a medical report saying Aliyu was not okay in the head, he was going to be punished. Her family were going to make sure of that, her father alone was livid.

She knew that something like this was not going to happen again, it was concluded that he was spending the rest of his life in jail.

If death had been permissible, Aliyu would have been six feet under by now. In court, he would receive the sentence for cyber bullying, stalking and trespassing but her family made sure he was living the rest of his there. Alas, she had rid him from her life. Though what he did to her would forever be imprinted in her memory. But she was not going to let him rule her life, she was done with him. The only thing she was grateful about from being with him was the fact that he was unable to impregnate her. If she had a child with him, it would have been harder.

She had very much forgotten about him or anything related to him. Even now as she got ready for a wedding in the Baki family, what was on her mind was anything but Ali. She finished by draping a veil on her left shoulder and exited her room and went downstairs.

Dawud had not come down yet so she went to the kitchen to get a bottle of water. She returned to the living room just in time to see him coming down the stairs. He stopped before he finished his way down and looked her over, she wanted to shy away from his scrutiny.

"Go and change". He told her and she looked at him in confusion.

"Why?". She had expected a compliment from him atleast.

"It's too tight". She looked down at the dress.

"Won't I know if my dress is too tight?".

"But it is".

"This is the anko Dawud".

"Just change the dress Rahma". The dress wasn't tight. She had told the tailor to make her a loose dress as always but somehow he decided to make a straight gown, when she complained, he told her she should use it to entice her husband, who didn't seem to appreciate it.

"I actually thought you'd appreciate me dressing up for you". She tried. She didn't want to have to change.

He looked like he was getting convinced then he shook his head and pulled her by her waist.

"I do appreciate it,". His hands moved from her waist to her hips repeatedly. "But I fear other men will also appreciate it, so just change".

"Fine". She moved away from him and went back to her room, contemplating wearing an abaya over the dress but the heat might be too much, so she just changed the dress completely.

She went back down to meet Dawud, who smiled and complimented her.

"Just so you know, I didn't dress for you the first time I was only trying to manipulate you". He laughed and led her out.

"Okay Rahma. But I'm down if you still want to wear the first one when we are back". She moved away from him to the car. He chuckled and locked the house and joined her by the car.

They got to the wedding late, already Dawud came home late then he made her change. Though, they both didn't mind they didn't plan on staying long afterall. They went into the hall together and they went to find Dawud's mother and sisters.
