A few hours had passed and it was finally morning. Well soon would be, Marinette and Gina had arrived at the airport and had just finished the strenuous activity of airport security. After the extended wait of boarding time, it was time for the heart wrenching goodbye.
After long hugs and a couple tears Gina and Marinette boarded the plane sitting down at her window seat, Marinette took a look down at her ticket, just over 8 hours this would be a long flight but she was excited about the prospect of finally meeting Damian.
Ever since his offer to plan her first prank she had begun brainstorming she had filed an eighth of her new sketchbook with prank ideas yet nothing seemed perfect or just right. They were all missing something and she had an entire flight to figure it out.
Though there had been another project she thought of, she had done a bit of research and Gotham had many fabric shops all over, not only that she could probably ask her grandmother to bother a sewing machine and she'd have one appear like a fairy godmother.
She loved that about her grandmother, her spontaneous nature, the constant trips and the stories she would tell her, getting to see the world going on incredible adventures sounded like something fun. Sure she had more than a few stories from her Ladybug time but she couldn't just tell them to anyone.
Reaching into her carry on bag she pulled out her pink polka-dotted sketchpad and flicked through the pages, Damian had mentioned his favourite colours being a red, green and a dark yellow.
The colours had been quite specific and after a little research of Gotham she had found out they were the colours of Batman's partner Robin. Sure his entire suit was questionable, hers wasn't the greatest either but the difference was he got the choice in his outfit.
And a traffic light, was there a crazy story behind the look or was it pure choice? She could understand if it was some kind of symbolism but to what exactly?
Flicking across her pages she had a few ideas, she could knit him a scarf yet that could take a while, or some kind of beanie. Gotham was known for cold and snowy winters like Paris. Something that she had liked was the idea of a bomber jacket.
Something on the lines of a red jacket, green sections across the sleeves with a yellow lining to add to it and possibly create the Robin logo and add it to the jacket as a kind of patch possible velcro in case he rather not have the patch.
Sitting back she looked over towards her grandmother who was talking us a storm with the person sitting in the aisle seat next to her, they seemed around the same age. Looking back to her bag she saw a tiny head pop out from the side.
Tikki looked up to her with a smile. This was going to be a fun holiday, she was going to relax and enjoy herself before she had to start a new term.
Hey everyone, been a while, glad to finally update. I need some help as you know Marinette is going to be designing a prank, the thing is I have a few ideas but nothing seems right. I would love to hear some of your ideas if you have any, thanks.
