As the flight disembarked for the final two hours of the flight, Marinette sighed leaning back in her seat. Flying the eight hours was a much longer amount of time than she had anticipated. So much so she had never felt so grateful for Kalki and his powers of teleportation before this as she did now.

Sitting back she was starting to get antsy. She had filled a few pages with sketches and a couple others with plans of pranks but nothing was perfect not yet anyway. Unless Damian was down to complete her plan on stages.

Other than that Tikki had popped her head out of her carry on bag a few times making a quick appearance and giving Marinette that quick vitality boost she needed to keep going.

She had considered watching a film but all the ones she was interested in had gone to them in the cinema up to their release. Her grandmother has suggested taking a nap like she was currently doing but once they landed it would be nightfall there and she wanted to adjust to the time difference quickly.

As a means to make the most of her trip, this would be her second time in America yet her first in Gotham  and she wanted to enjoy her time there and meet up with Damian as long as her grandmother was okay with it of course.

She had read up on the city and was looking forward to seeing it despite the city being known to be crime ridden, filled with bat and bird vigilantes along with an overall gloomy outlook on the city.

According to what she'd read the city was once prosperous before billionaires Matha and Thomas Wayne had been murdered in an alley after attending a play with their son who witnessed the thing before his very eyes yet was left alive.

She and Tikki had spoken no known miraculous holders lived here or if there were any they were dormant and were currently out of use. The idea of miraculous' getting into the hands of the cruel of heart was bad but to a Gotham rogue who would happily cause chaos, destruction and suffering and willingly would be a living nightmare.

Laying her head back Marinette grabbed her phone she was both nervous and excited to meet Damian the two had grown close in little time and he seemed genuine. Worse case scenario she had been catfished for the better part of a couple months now.

Tapping on a random game on her phone the blunette tried to distract herself about thoughts that didn't stray to a rougher villain with a miraculous or getting cat fished. Was this what normally happened when the air pressure decreased?

Looking at her phone the 20% battery warning popped up, Marinette doubted she could have used it all that quickly but she reached down to her bag.

Tikki popped up with a grin on her face "you need something?" She was happy to speak for holder for the first time all day.
