It was 11 in the morning when she received his message with the address where she was supposed to go with all the jewelry and cash to finally get him out of her and her child's life. She hurriedly got ready, packing all the jewelry and other valuable things. Putting them in a small bag, she also hid a pepper spray in case he misbehaved or changed his plan.

She put her phone on the charger and wrote down the address on a piece of paper. Hurriedly, she took a taxi to the address, hoping to resolve everything before her husband returned from work.

As she reached the given address, her heart pounded in her chest. The area was shady, filled with old and locked houses. She quickly paid the taxi driver and approached the door of an old house mentioned in the message. She knocked, her hands trembling slightly.

He opened the door, looking busy with something inside. As she stepped into the house, he swiftly closed the door behind her, the sound of the latch clicking shut sending a shiver down her spine.

"Did you tell him?" he asked.

"No,I don't think you would be standing here if I did," she replied, holding up the small bag. "I have everything here. Now, please, take it and leave us alone."

He smirked, reaching for the bag, but she pulled it back slightly. "Before I give this to you, I want your word that you'll leave and never come back."

As she saw him coming towards her, she backed away in fear, trying to put distance between them, he asked bitterly, his voice laden with hurt, "Why don't you want to come with me? Do you really despise me so much that you want to keep me away from my child?"

She felt a chill run down her spine. The desperation in his voice made her heart race. She was trapped, both physically and emotionally. "Please, just follow the deal we made," she pleaded, her voice shaking.

He fell to his knees, tears streaming down his face. His vulnerability was a stark contrast to his earlier aggression. Looking up at her with eyes full of sorrow, he begged, "Please, come with me. I can't leave my child now that I know he exists." His voice broke, revealing the depth of his anguish. "I've made all the arrangements in a foreign country. No one will find us. I'm so sorry for leaving you alone on our wedding day." His hands reached out, trembling as he tried to hug her legs, his tears soaking into the fabric of her dress. "We can go and live happily now," he sobbed.

Her mind raced, her heart pounding in her chest. She wanted to scream, to run, but she was rooted to the spot by a mixture of fear and pity. "It's too late for your apology," she managed to say, her voice cold. "You're forgetting I'm married now, and not to just anyone but to your elder brother."

He stood up abruptly, frustration contorting his features. His grip on her shoulders was tight, almost painful. "What the hell has changed? You were supposed to marry me, not him!" he shouted, his voice echoing through the empty house. "I'm apologizing for my mistake. We used to love each other, and you're pregnant with my child. Why can't you come with me?"
