I prepared myself for my final match, pumping myself up for what would be the deciding factor of my career as a fighter. As I entered the ring, standing ready and confident to take down any opposition before me. Then, a pair of yellow eyes stared at me from just outside the ring light. I tried to stare back but suddenly felt heavy as if the world itself was pushing down on me. I looked down as I fell to my hands and knees. A necklace dangled from my neck as I struggled to stand back on my feet. Still struggling to stand, I heard voices, yelling at me from all around. With the eyes still focused on me as I slowly stood. Abruptly, and from all around me, I heard a voice almost completely indecipherable in the noise.

"C*$#&3# T&3 ¿R●PH£C¥"

"I don't understand," I thought, my head spinning.

"C*$#&3# T&3 ¿R●PH£C¥,". it repeated

"I DON'T UNDERSTAND," I roared.
As I roared I felt the world shake, and a bright rainbow flash glowed around me, as my conscience began to fade, I heard part of a prophecy that I had read many times before.

When the war has lasted twenty years...
the dragonets will come.
When the land is soaked in blood and tears...
the dragonets will come...

I awoke with a start, feeling the hard stony ground beneath me, my head and back aching from the abrupt fall into unconsciousness. I sat upright trying to make heads or tails of the dream I had just gone through.

I remembered the yellow eyes followed by a flash of light, then nothing...

"The 5 dragonets," I murmured, remembering part of the dragonet prophecy.

I started to stand upright, finding my balance and doing some stretching as I did. I noticed that I was still in my makeshift hiding spot I found inside the scroll room. I cautiously moved out of my hiding spot and slowly walked towards the entrance to ensure the coast was clear of any would-be dragons before entering the large hallway. As I moved near the entranceway, a scent hit my nose that smelled like burnt paper. I quietly walked over to the right where I had come in before needing to quickly hide.

After a perilous glance in I ducked back hard upon seeing what was in the chamber. I saw Starflight stood over what looked like a large pile of scrolls all of which were completely scorched. "Why would Starflight burn scrolls? "From what I remember, Starflight was a huge bookworm; or scrollworm I guess." I tried to think of any reason why any of the dragonets, especially Starflight, would burn scrolls.

"Unless," I murmured in thought, as I tried to think back to the first-ever Wings of Fire book I read. "The only time they burned the scrolls was to signal their frie..." "NOO," I thought "If  they are doing this that means, I need to leave, NOW!" I spun quickly about to run down the large hallway hoping to find a way out before what would surely transpire in the next half an hour. Upon me spinning around however I came face first with hopefully the most kind, of the dragonets.

" Oh my gosh a scavenger," Sunny said in a practically excited tone. Staring at me with burning curiosity in her eyes.  I stared back, frozen under the gaze of the dragon. I tried to move but my legs were not responding to me. " MOVE !"  I thought in my head, my staring contest with Sunny continuing for what felt like several minutes.

This was until I heard a large scraping of stone behind me. I shifted my gaze away from the curious sandwing before me, trying not to panic as I watched as a previously hidden tunnel emerged from the chamber behind me. A previous boulder that I considered just a natural part of the chamber's space rolled away as two more dragons appeared into sight. It was a Mudwing followed close behind by a Seawing. I could tell by their looks; The Mudwing with its stout size and brown scales. Next the Seawing with its blue and green scales. "No doubt it is Clay and Tsunami,"  I said identifying the two newcomers. He locked eyes with the two new dragons for just a moment as he watched Starflight go up and greet his fellow dragonets.
