Y/N turned to Sunny after he cut the thin metal cage bars and quickly made short work of the wing restraints binding her.
"Not bad," he remarked, as his newly acquired claw seemed to cut the restraints as if they were not even there.
Sunny and Y/N then turned towards the hole Y/N made, the both of them exiting as four very familiar dragons landed by their now broken cage.
"Clay, Peril, Glory, and Tsunami,' The only one missing is Starflight, but he should come back sometime later," he noted, remembering how Morrowseer dropped Starflight off somewhere in a forest.
As the dragonets landed, Sunny sprang toward them with happiness upon finally reuniting with her fellow dragonets. The other dragonets embraced Sunny as she sprang at them, only Peril staying still not having the same companionship with Sunny. "Also firescales," Y/N reminded himself, feeling the heat emanate from Peril.
He walked closer to the dragonets about to address Clay from his earlier conversations on the spire but was quickly stopped as Tsunami swung towards him. Y/N quickly avoided the incoming blow and was about to fight back until Clay promptly intervened.
"Tsunami Don't hurt him!" Clay quickly said, grabbing Tsunami's arm from launching another strike at Y/N.
"Why? That Scavenger is dangerous!" Tsunami said wearily, remembering the fight with Fjord and the flashing spectacle it made after the battle.
"And what does that make all of you to me!" Y/N snapped back towards Tsunami.
Tsunami froze at Y/N's words, forgetting that he could speak and was allegedly intelligent. However, before Tsunami or Y/N could argue further, Clay quickly stepped in, "We don't have time to argue, we need to leave before the queen's guards start searching for us!" Clay told Tsunami, who looked like she wasn't wholly fond of the idea of having Y/N along.
"I'll explain later," Clay whispered to Tsunami, trying to reassure the uncertain Seawing. "Alright, fine, but let's hurry," Tsunami said, turning away, giving Y/N a glare of warning.
Before the dragons were about to take off, Y/N was about to ask how he was going to follow when a large claw from Clay wrapped around Y/N, careful not to hurt him.
"Y'know I was kinda hoping to be able to ride on a dragon," Y/N thought as the dragonets flew off, Y/N firmly in Clay's talons, his childhood fantasies going unfulfilled.
The group of dragonets split as they took off Clay, Peril, and Tsunami plus Y/N flew over to an unfamiliar cell that held a Skywing that Y/N did not recognize until he got closer, while Sunny and Glory went off towards a place to regroup later.
It was Kestrel, one of the caretakers of the dragonets. "She is also Peril's mother," Y/N thought, knowing that Peril was the dragon that emerged from the egg that Scarlet stole from Kestrel.
Y/N stumbled slightly as Clay put him down near the cage, Peril gradually cutting through the thick iron bars that caged Kestrel. Peril was about halfway done with freeing Kestrel when two large skywing guards appeared around a corner shouting at the dragonets as the pair of guards charged.
Y/N moved quickly as a large burst of fire shot past him aimed for Tsunami but blocked by Clay. The two large skywing guards quickly moved in on the two dragonets, one each taking Tsunami and Clay.
Y/N moved deftly through the frantic battle between Clay and the first skywing guard, watching Clay overpower the skywing as he moved by he saw that the second skywing guard was overpowering Tsunami, pinning her against the floor.
