Y/N was panting. His lungs were ablaze from exertion and his whole body wanted to do nothing more than rest but he kept running, darting between legs and dodging claws from the many dragons around him.

"I should stop pissing off dragon queens," Y/N thought, sliding under a blueish-green seawing that lunged at him. "Or possibly they could just not try to kill me," " Y/N thought thinking back on how Scarlet tried smashing him into a paste on the floor.

"Either way I'm not dying yet!" Y/N yelled in defiance to the many seawings that now cornered him, his arm glowing a fierce radiance as they closed in.

It was the day before Y/N had entered the mostly underwater seawing palace. He was currently napping under the side of a large cliff face that rested on the island, making use of the warm-scaled Sunny as a pillow; exhausted from his frequent usage of his animus magic and a now devastated sleep schedule.

Meanwhile, the rest of the dragonets were in deep conversation, only Tsunami not present due to her exploring the ocean trying to find her original home from when she was an egg. Using only the guidance from Y/N's magic and Starflight's information on geography to find her original home.

"For the last time, I don't know,"  Clay said, irritated at the repeated questions from Starflight. "If I knew why Y/N needed to go to the seawing kingdom I would tell you,"

"You said he was trying to find his way home?"  Starflight said perplexed, his head turning to where Y/N was sleeping. "Why doesn't he just use animus magic to take himself home?"

"He said it doesn't work like that and that it might kill him if he overused it,"  Clay said, following Starflights gaze to Y/N.

"You said that animus magic eats away at an animus dragon's soul, does it work the same way for him?" Glory asked Starflight.

"I never read anything in the scrolls that mentioned a scavenger even having animus magic so I don't have a clue," Starflight said his talons lightly scratching at the stony floor as if he were trying to unfurl a scroll.

"I hope it doesn't use his soul," Clay said, giving Y/N a concerned look.

"One scroll said that animus dragons go crazy if they use it too much," Starflight said fearfully, "Did he seem crazy to you Clay?"

Clay looked at Y/N trying to think of the conversations he had with Y/N, not finding anything Y/N  said as him being crazy rather than just largely unbelievable.

"I mean unless you don't consider that he is from another world," Clay murmured, just loud enough for Starflight to hear.

Starflight swung his head towards Clay his eyes almost bulging out of his head and his mouth open wide in disbelief; His brain appeared to come to a halt his earlier thoughts were exploded by the proverbial bombshell that Clay dropped.

"I'll tell you later,"  Glory said, putting her talons on Starflight's shoulder. Able to explain where Y/N came from after she received a lightly detailed explanation from Y/N when she came back from Mudwing kingdom with Clay.

Y/N was still happily snoring away until a sudden movement from Sunny knocked him into consciousness his head hurting after lightly hitting the ground as he awoke.

"Why is it always in the same spot," Y/N said in pain, feeling a slight bruise form on the back of his head from hitting the ground. Y/N looked up as he got over his rude awakening, watching as Clay took off toward the beach in what looked like a panic with Sunny shortly following behind.
