Clay and Y/N spoke for a while longer, while the sun slowly sunk below the horizon.

Y/N watched as the sun slowly fell beneath the horizon, replaced in the sky by three bright but also differently lit-up moons. "That is strange," Y/N said, feeling slightly homesick, slowly coming to terms with being stuck in this new world.

Clay looked over, following the gaze of Y/N towards the three moons.

"You don't have three moons in your world?" Clay asked in a mild amount of disbelief, not being able to imagine not having three moons.

"Nah, we just have the one," Y/N said, a bit of melancholy leaking into his voice with tears forming in his eyes.

Clay watched as Y/N slowly wiped his eyes, not sure how to react to the sudden mood swing of Y/N.

"Um, are you feeling okay?" Clay asked, concerned.

"Yeah, fine, just feeling a little lost," Y/N answered honestly, feeling more hopeless than ever, having time to fully acknowledge how far he truly was from everything he had known.

"From family to friends, it was literally a universe away," Y/N thought.

"I am sure you will get back," Clay said, trying to cheer up Y/N. Like how Y/N had done earlier for Clay.

Y/N stared at the dragonet for a long moment before bursting into a fit of laughter.

Clay recoiled, not understanding Y/N's sudden outburst.

"What is so funny?" Clay said, confused as Y/N doubled over, still laughing heartily.

"It's absurd," Y/N said, trying to stop laughing at the very flustered dragonet.

"Watching a dragonet like you, trying to assure me, I mean" Y/N elaborated, still chuckling.

"I don't get it," Clay said, turning away feeling mildly embarrassed."

" Don't worry about it," Y/N said, finally getting control of himself.

With the day slowly turning to night, Y/N started to shiver, feeling the bitter cold start to take hold.

"Dang, it's really cold," Y/N said, feeling like he was inside a freezer.

"Not too bad," Clay said, not really understanding Y/N's concerns.

"Maybe for you, but for me, this is pretty darn cold," Y/N chattered out while leaning against Clay, trying to stay warm.

"Alright, I am going to use some magic," Y/N decided, fully knowing he might not survive the night if this went on.

"Doesn't animus magic use part of your soul?" Clay asked concerned, remembering one of Starflight's rants on animus magic, among various other topics.

I'm not sure, but when I use it, I just seem to get really tired," Y/N said.

"So, be sure to catch me if I fall." Y/N joked in a kinda serious manner.

Clay readied himself as Y/N stood and began to speak.

"Keep me and the dragonets of Destiny warm this night."Y/N chanted. A low warm glow emanated from Y/N for a moment before fading, being replaced by a warm feeling as if the stone beneath and the air around them heated.
