*Katsuki POV - Fourteen years prior*

"Mum.. why do i have to hang out with him.. he is annoying."

I pouted, crossing my arms over my seatbelt. We were on our way to Auntie Inko's, and me, being a five year old, was already bored as hell. My mum turned around in the seat, scowling slightly.

"Katsuki! You know he thinks of you as his best friend! Can't you try to act like it to him.. He doesn't have any other friends.. Inko said that he has become depressed recently as he thinks you hate him."

Sticking out my tongue, i gazed out of the window, watching the other cars pass by us. I did hate him. He was dull, annoying, boring, loud, and looked like broccoli, all the things i hated most other than villains. His room was full of all might figure figurines, posters, and softys. It was kind of freaky how the eyes seemed to follow you around the room. I shivered slightly, just the thought of his room giving me chills. About half an hour later, Dad pulled off the motorway, turning down into a separate part of the city. I perked up slightly, seeing Uncle Hizashi standing in the front garden waiting for us. As soon as the car pulled up, i undid my seat belt and waited for mum to open the door because of the damn child-lock.

"Uncle Hizashi!"

"Heya bud! How are you doing?"

"Im good! Do you have any new books yet?"

"Yes, i do. They are in the garage. I will get them soon for you."

I cheered and ran around the garden. Uncle Hizashi's books were not the normal kind. They were on quirks, how they were formed, the types, side effects, and myths that came around with the quirks. I loved reading them. They were weird, dark, and easy to follow. There were many diagram in the aswell, so if I couldn't understand what they were on about, i could look at the pictures to help. Mum and Dad were talking to Uncle Hizashi. I ignored them and waved to Aunt Inko, who had just come out of the house.
'I don't see him.. that's good!'

"Hello! How are you, my lovelies!"
She came up to me and gave me a hug, kneeling down in front of me. I glared at my mother as she was laughing at my reaction.
"Hi Aunt Inko.."
She let go of me, and I stepped back, straightening my shirt.
"My Izu will be so glad to see you! He is in the living room right now. You can go in and see him if you like."
"No thanks! I would like to stay outside for a bit!"
She nodded and stood up right, ruffling up my hair as she did so. Pouting, I patted my hair, trying to get it back to its normal state. She chuckled before walking over to my parents. I stuck my tongue out at her retreating back and turned to the house. Suddenly, a green blur came running towards me. It tackled me, and I stumbled backwards.
"Kacchan!"
"Huh.. oh."
I pushed him off me and stepped away from him. He was smiling widely, the freckles on his face dark against his pale skin. I frowned and looked away. The parents had gone inside now so it was only me and Broccoli Boy in the garden.

"Is Kacchan upset?"

I looked back at him, raising an eyebrow. He was holding his hand next to his mouth, chewing the sleeve slightly. His eyes were locked on mine, and he wasn't blinking. Rolling my eyes, i walked to the house, Broccoli trailing behind me like a lost puppy. Aunt Inko came out of the kitchen as i took off my shoes, discarding them by the front door.

"Hey, Auntie."
"Hello Katsuki, hello Izu. I have ice cream for you two in the kitchen if you would like them.

I nodded and followed her to the kitchen, Broccoli running ahead. Aunt Inko went into the freezer and pulled out two chocolate cornetto's.
{AN: If you haven't had one, i am sorry for you.]
She handed one to me and one to Broccoli, telling us to eat in here or in the garden. I nodded again, pulling off the wrapping before licking the ice cream. Aunt Inko smiled, leaving the kitchen and waking to the living room with a tray of mugs. I plopped myself down on the floor, leaning against the kitchen cabinets. Broccoli sat himself on the counter, swinging his legs as he ate the ice cream. I ignored him until he voiced something that he had obviously been thinking about.
