*Izuku POV*

'Sh[]t.. my door locked, and I left the key on the inside of it.'
I groaned and went in my pocket, searching for a hair pin or needle. The top stair creaked, and I glanced over, seeing Kacchan standing at the top of it, looking around. Rolling my eyes, I fiddled with the handle some more, crouching down and looking through the key hole.
"Hey Izuku! Can you help me? I need to read something, and Dabi won't help.."
I looked around and saw Toga walking up to me.
"Hm? Oh yeah, sure! You got a needle or pin in your pockets? My door auto-locked, and I left the key in the lock.."
"Yep! Here ya go!"
Himiko reached up to her hair, pulling out two hair pins. I took them from her and said thanks, turning back to my door.
"D- deku..?"
I froze.
"Sh[]t. Sh[]t. Sh[]t."
"F[]ck.. I'm so sorry Izu!!"
"So it is true.. oh f[]ck no. I'm leaving this sh[]t hole!"
I sighed and stood up.
"Don't. take. a. single. step."
Dabi's door opened across from mine. He had his quirk activated and was glaring at Kacchan. I looked at Kacchan over my shoulder, pulling a knife from pocket.
"D- don't hurt me!! P- please!"
Twice came up behind him, startling Kacchan, so he fell forward. He was trembling, unable to move through fear.
"Heh.. I think I'll leave you to deal with him as you see fit Dabi.. I need to help Himiko."
I turned back to my door, sliding the knife between the vrack between door and frame, trying to pick the lick with the pins.
"N- no.. please! I- i- I'll.."
"You'll do what? Stutter at us? Oh, how scary~ ooo I'm trembling in my shoes."
I smirked hearing Dabi's remark, and Twice and Himiko laughed. The door clicked open, and I stood up.
"Come on, Himiko. Let's teach you how to read. Have fun, Dabi and Kacchan~. "
Pushing open the door, i held it for Himiko, who skipped past me, waving at Kacchan. I saluted him before entering my room, pushing the door to.

Screams sounded from Kacchan, fear tying the edges of it together. I smirked and turned to Toga.
"What you need help reading?"
Toga held up a book, showing it to me. It was Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. I raised an eyebrow.
"Twice said he liked it, but no one else had read it, so I wanted to so he could talk about it.."
She looked at me sheepishly, a small smile on her face. I sighed and sat on the bed, taking the book from her.
"Do you want me to teach you to read it or just read it to you?"
"Just read it, please.. I can learn from that!"
I nodded and opened the book. I started to read it, stopping every few sentences so Toga could catch up and had a brief space to ask questions. Her eyes were wide as I read it to her. I smiled, glad to see she was enjoying herself. After a few hours, she took the book from me, studying the pages.
"So.. this one says.. "Red hair.. and a hand me down robe.. you must be a weasle?"
I chuckled.
"Nearly. It's just that it is weasley instead of - you know what. Let's stick with weasle. It sounds better."
"So... I can read now?"
"Yup!"
She blinked for a second, letting the information sink in. A wide grin spread on her face.
"I can read! I can read!! Thank you, Izu!! Ima go tell Twice and Spinner and Crusty []ss and Burnt Toast!"
She jumped up and bounced up and down on the spot, grinning widely. She stopped suddenly, freezing in motion.
"Did we tell Dabi not to kill the newbie."
"Sh[]t."
I got up and took the book from Toga, putting it on my desk with a piece of scrap paper to mark the page. Toga rushed out of the room, banging the door open and hurrying towards the door to the basement.
"Dabi! You better not have killed him!"
I followed her, throwing the door to the basement open. The scene was gruesome. Dabi stood against the wall, a knife in his hands, his eyes wide in terror. They were covered in blood. I groaned slightly, seeing this. My head turned to Kacchan. He was chained to the wall again, slumped forwards on his knees. His shirt was torn and bloodied, revealing deep gashes on his chest and back, a large stab wound on his shoulder. Toga clutched the door frame, holding herself back.
"Toga leave.."
She nodded and rushed up the stairs. It wasn't like she wasn't able to see this, but her quirk took over her at times at the stench of blood.
"Izuku.. he made me.. he tried to kill me.. i- I'm sorry I lost control.."
I looked at Dabi and nodded slowly, showing I understood it all.
"J- just help me clean him up.. please.. the stench is already bad enough for Toga.. it may well be the same for me soon.."
Dabi nodded and went to the corner of the room, pulling back a crate. Behind it was a stack of medical supply's that we had here for emergencies. He pulled it out and went over to Kacchan. I followed him, grabbing the key to the shackles as I did so. I reached up and unlocked them, holding onto Kacchan's shoulder as I did so, ensuring he wouldn't fall. After the shackles were off him, me and Dabi lifted him up, carring him over to the mattress.

"What do we need to do?! I have done this before?! Normally Kurogiri helps me.. Dabi.."
I looked at him, trying not to show him how worried I was. He looked at me.
"Get the bottle of alcohol from the box, dab it on some cotton wool."
I nodded and went through the medical kit, pulling out the alcohol and cotton. I dabbed it onto the wool and waited for Dabi's next instructions.
"We need to clean his wounds, if we don't they will be infected which could lead to blood poisoning."
"Got it."
I wrinkled my nose at the smell of the alcohol but ignored it. Kacchan flinched as I began to clean his wounds, Dabi doing the other side. Dabi frowned, apparently concerned.
"What's wrong?"
"He needs stitches.. I have all the equipment but I'm not able to do it whilst he is out cold."
"I think I can wake him up.. but I will need to leave the room as soon as possible after.."
Dabi's face relaxed slightly before becoming stern again.
"Do what you have to. "
I took a breath and put my hand beside one of Kacchans wounds. I pressed on it slightly, blood seeping onto my fingers. Breathing deeply i put my hand to my mouth and licked it, swallowing his blood.
"Wake up.."
Kacchan stirred. I looked at Dabi then rushed out of the room, wiping my hand on my trousers. If I was around blood for to long and consumed even a drop of it from anoughter person I would go into a craze. Dabi had witnessed it before and I had scared the sh[]t out of him. Looking up to the top of the stairs I saw Toga. She was chewing the cuff of her sleeve nervously.
"He is fine Toga. Don't worry."
"I'm not worried bout him. I'm worried about Dabi.. if Master found out about this Dabi could get in trouble.. we haven't got any information from him yet.. i- I'm scared Izu.."
I walked up the stairs to her, stopping on the last step. She was so much shorter than me I was on the same level as her.
"Toga. He will be fine. I'll get some information from him later.. we will be fine."
I hugged her tightly, not wanting her to be sad. She sniffed, pulling away and wiping her nose on her sleeve.
"OK Izu-kun. I trust you.. now ima go and tell Crusty []ss that I can read now and I can help on missions!"
She skipped away smiling cheerily. I looked after her, dumbfounded.
'How. The. Actual. F[]ck. Does. She. Do. That. Like she was about to ball her eyes out 13seconds ago?!'

AN: I don't know where this is going and I can't think on how to do it.. I might just discontinue it as I have no idea on how to write the next part.. I have regrets on starting it where I did and how I wrote this.. for now I'm just going to pause it and possible start a new book as I am hating myself right now =)
