Third Person POV

Yiling Wei Sect: Wei Manor

An hour passed and it was still hard for him to accept the truth. His gaze lock on the forehead ribbon wrapped around his wrist. Wuxian scoffed as he stood up from his bed.

His gaze turn to his bedroom door when he heard a knock.

" I'll be there in a minute.." He answered and walked towards his bathroom.

Time-skips

As Wuxian entered the serene garden, he found Baoshan Sanren standing near a blooming cherry blossom tree.

Her eyes held a mix of anger and disappointment, but she maintained her composure.

Wuxian approached her cautiously, his heart pounding in his chest.

"Grandmother," Wuxian began, his voice filled with a mixture of guilt and determination. "Butler Choi says, you were looking for me."

Baoshan Sanren turned to face him, her eyes piercing through his soul.

"Wuxian," she spoke out.

"Do you have any idea what you have done?" asked by Baoshan Sanren.

Wuxian bowed his head, feeling the weight of his actions. "I... I know I have disappointed you, grandmother," he admitted, his voice filled with remorse.

"I have made a grave mistake in aligning myself with my father's ambitions."

Baoshan Sanren turned to face him, her eyes filled with a mix of anger and sadness. "Wuxian," her voice steady yet laced with disappointment.

"I am mad at your father for his treachery, but I am even more concerned for you. Marrying Lan Wangji... it is a decision that worries me deeply."

Wuxian's eyes widened in surprise. "You...you know about Lan Wangji?" he asked, shocked that his grandmother was aware of his forbidden love.

Baoshan Sanren nodded, a hint of a smile playing on her lips. "I may be old, but I am not blind, Wuxian," she replied. "Love has a way of finding us, even in the most unexpected places."

"I am not angry at you for falling in love, I understand that.... love can make us do foolish things," she said, her voice filled with a mix of sadness and concern. "But marrying him? Do you not realize the consequences of your actions?"

Baoshan Sanren sighed, her anger dissipating slightly. She knew that Wuxian was stubborn and once he set his mind on something, there was no changing it. But she couldn't help but worry about the consequences of his actions.

"Wuxian," she said, her voice filled with a mix of worry and affection, "you are bound by your sect, by your responsibilities. I fear for the hardships you may face if he discovers your relationship with someone else."

Wuxian's resolve hardened as he looked away from his grandmother.

"I don't care if he finds out," he stated firmly. His determination to pursue his own path was evident in his words.

Baoshan Sanren couldn't believe what she was hearing. She stared at the Yiling Patriarch in disbelief, her heart heavy with a sense of regret.

"You will only bring harm to the Chief Cultivator's life, Wei Wuxian," she exclaimed, her voice laced with regret.

"If I had known that letting you come back here would lead to this situation, I would have refused your mother's request to send you here."

Wuxian's expression remained unchanged as he met his grandmother's gaze.

"Grandmaster, please don't ever dare to meddle in my business," he said, his voice filled with a mix of determination and a plea for understanding.

"That's all I want... just don't interfere."

Yingqing Mountain

In the breathtaking expanse of Yingqing's majestic mountains, nature's masterpiece unfolded before their eyes.

Towering peaks touched the heavens, their rugged edges a testament to the passage of time.

Verdant forests blanketed the slopes, vibrant and teeming with life, their lush foliage dancing to the whims of the wind.

Sunlight filtered through the emerald canopy, casting ethereal rays across the landscape, painting a vivid tapestry of light and shadow.

As they stood on the precipitous cliff-side, Huaisang glanced at the tall figure beside him, concerned etched upon his face.

He couldn't help but question the necessity of their current endeavor. "Your Highness, is this truly necessary?" he asked, his voice tinged with worry.

The man in white robes turned his gaze towards the sky, his eyes filled with an unspoken burden.

"You know I can never live a lie, Nie-gongzi," he responded, his words carrying a weight of honesty and inner turmoil.

In his heart, he knew that the love they shared was true, despite the complexity of their circumstances.

Huaisang smiled knowingly, his expression imbued with meaning.

"But the love you both share isn't a lie, Your Highness," he offered softly, understanding the depth of their connection.

The man in white nodded in acknowledgment, his eyes reflecting the resolve that burned within him.

"I am doing this for his safety, Nie-gongzi," he emphasized, his voice filled with determination and unwavering determination.

Before Huaisang could reply, a disciple garbed in silver and black armor appeared before them.

The disciple respectfully bowed before the man in white robes, posture humble and eyes cast down, in accordance with the strict protocols of their world.

"Your Highness, everything is prepared," the disciple informed, their words muffled with reverence, gaze fixed firmly on the ground.

Their presence marked the beginning of upheaval in the Cultivation World, as the immortal standing before them was destined to unleash chaos upon those lands.

The immortal, adorned in flowing white robes, let out a weary sigh.

"Deliver my messages to every sect leader," he commanded, his voice carrying a weight of grave purpose.

"They must be made aware of their greatest enemy, descending upon their sacred grounds."

With those threatening words, the white-clad figure disappeared into a swirling vortex of vibrant leaves, leaving only a sense of foreboding and uncertainty in their wake.

Lanling Jin Sect

Zixuan, his thoughts consumed with the task of informing Jin Guangyao of their younger brother's departure, turned to leave the room.

However, he froze as a voice sounded from behind him, causing him to hesitate in his path.

"What brings you here?" A voice floated through the air, catching Zixuan off guard.

He turned slowly, his eyes widening with surprise at the sight of their younger brother, Xuanyu, stepping out from a mirror.

A sigh of relief escaped Zixuan's lips as he realized it was Xuanyu and not someone else. Confusion trickled into his voice as he addressed his brother.

"I thought you had already left. I thought you were back to Cloud Recesses..To be with Hanguang-jun," he said, puzzled by the unexpected appearance.

Wuxian shook his head, his expression weary.

"I was," he replied, his voice carrying a tinge of melancholy as he lowered himself onto the edge of the bed.

Zixuan couldn't help but press further, his curiosity piqued.

"Was?"
