Third Person POV

As the night deepened, casting shadows across the room, Wuxian sat on his bed, engrossed in a book that held his attention captive.

The soft glow of a lamp illuminates the pages, creating a cocoon of warmth in the dimly lit space.

Suddenly, a sharp knock echoed through the room, breaking the tranquility of the moment.

Wuxian set aside his book, placing it gently on the table, and rose to his feet, curiosity piqued by the unexpected visitor at his door.

Opening the door, he was met with the sight of Yunji standing outside, a familiar face with a hint of concern etched upon it.

"A-ji?" Wuxian uttered, his gaze questioning as he took in his cousin's presence.

"Can I come in? I need to talk to you," Yunji requested, his tone serious yet tinged with a hint of urgency.

"Talk about what? Come in before I change my mind," Wuxian replied, gesturing for Yunji to enter as he made his way back to his bed, sitting on the edge with a sense of anticipation.

Yunji chuckled softly, closing the door behind him before approaching Wuxian with a solemn expression.

"Is everything alright?" Wuxian inquired, a note of concern lacing his words.

"I'm here to warn you about Wangji. You have to stay away from him. He is not the one who you think he is," Yunji stated bluntly, his words carrying a weight of caution.

"What do you mean?" Wuxian asked, confusion clouding his features as he sought clarification.

Before Yunji could elaborate, a sudden knock interrupted their conversation, drawing Wuxian's attention once more to the door.

Opening it, Wuxian's face lit up with a smile as he saw Wangji standing outside, the second Jade of Lan Clan.

"A-Zhan... What brings you here?" Wuxian greeted, a mix of surprise and joy in his voice.

Instead of responding verbally, Wangji pulled Wuxian into a tight embrace, whispering softly in his ear, "I miss you," before casting a steely glare in Yunji's direction, a silent warning in his eyes.

Yunji cursed inwardly, realizing the depth of the situation as Wangji entered the room, his presence commanding attention.

Once Wangji had settled in, Yunji heaved a sigh, his gaze meeting Wuxian's with a sense of gravity.

"Don't forget what I said," Yunji spoke earnestly, his words laden with unspoken warnings. "I will take my leave now. Have a good night."

With a respectful bow towards the couple, Yunji exited the room.

As Yunji made his exit, the room fell into a hushed stillness, the weight of his words lingering in the air.

Wangji's lips curved into a subtle smile as he turned his gaze towards his wife, Wuxian, who was lost in contemplation, pondering the cryptic warning from his cousin.

" What is he doing here?"

Wuxian brought out from his trance as he heard Wangji's voice on his ears, sending shivers from his spine.

" N- Nothing..ahm" Wuxian stammered, feeling Wangji's arms encircle him. " He just returned my book..he borrowed my book a few days ago..I think....I forgot.."
A hesitant smile tugged at his lips as he avoided meeting his husband's intense gaze.

Wangji sighed softly and shifted to face Wuxian, taking both of his hands in his own. " Anyways, I'm here to tell you that our departure will be three days from now. I will assist you in packing your belongings.." Wangji announced, his touch gentle as he cupped Wuxian's cheeks.
